Currently, that is correct.
This was just posted in the Ranger forum by a DEV. I have had to change my thinking a bit. It does say that a Ranger will be able to detect a cloaked jedi but not say thata jedi will be UNCLOAKED. I am still assuming that they will be able to UNCLOAK one also. I do not need any special sensor to detect a jedi right now. When I see all the Particle effects flashing around a space in Theed I can DETECT that there is a Jedi there. I think this will deserve a look.

LOL yeah right and you also want us not to be able go in house and a auto DB Jedi in the galaxy button also I bet.

your seeker can't do it because rangers are the ones who get to do it.

no offense, and I'm not gonna be the typical loser jedi that sits here and says screw you for considering such a thing! Its a valid thought, but it'll never happen. Otherwise jedi will get some sort of notification that you're comin, and umm... as a BH I don't want that! just something to think about

See nastypoop is the typical jeedai thats has to flame a valid point. It would make since that if a seeker can spot a jeedai under cloak it would also disrupt the cloaked jeedai....but its also a valid point this would alert the jeedai that he is being tracked leading to FR3/house/log so its a valid point but I dont think it would work out in our favor....

Oooo, blew right past that one when I read that post. So cloak now has a counter of sorts eh? (Note that it doesn't actually say cloak will break, just that the motion sensors will detect them) About dang-time.
But yeah, like being fooled by feign death as a professional gun-for-hire out to kill you, it just doesn't make sense that we can't program droids to detect them.

Your asking why wouldn't a traking droid uncloak the jedi.
Would you really want that. jedi uncloaks for no good reason in the middle of nowhere. and is going to think hmmm Traking droid or Ranger...hope on the bike and run. In most cases your not close enough in striking distance if your using a tracking droid. So it would be kind of useless to you. If the jedi cloaks and runs in a fight. you send a droid it takes a few min to update location by then there not in striking distance agian. unless there not very bright or coming back to continue the fight.
I just dont see it as a useful tool on tracking droids.

you know what's gonna happen if you kep crying about a anger droid decloaking a jedi when your seeker can't? system message; YOU"RE DROID HAS LOST TRACK OF YOUR MARKBECAUSE THEY HAVE CLOAKED!!!!!!!

This was just posted in the Ranger forum by a DEV. My question is why can a Ranger Motion Dector detect a cloaked jedi and break their CLOAK but our seeker droids that can detect a Jedi cannot?
I think this will deserve a look.

Okay,
I'll respond and Hay, please don't take thing the wrong way. If this would be the case and seekers could uncloak Jedi, coupled with the new cloak rules, they might as well remove cloak as a skill altogether. It would have no practical purpose whatsoever and be reduced to a simple parlor trick that just happens to cost 28 skill points and enough XP that a non Jedi could grind more than 3 entire master elite professions, or BH/MCM 1.5 times.
