All rigth we already know theres a ton of jedis out there, but cmon they duel in front of starports run around with no fear of being chase by the empire. Im not calling for a nerf of anything dont get me wrong it jsut seems weird when we where told in BETA jedis are goign to be very very very rare. I see moe jedis now than MBH lol

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke at me saying "Your next." They stopped that when i started doing it to them at funerals.

It's not so much that there are too many... its that they are too visible. There needs to be more in-game consequences for gaining visibility.

Something like an "Imperial Crackdown - Phase 2", where squads of level 90 Dark Troopers are dispatched randomly to cities where NPC's have reported Jedi activity.

Flash the glowstick... get outta town before the Lambda shuttle arrives.

I'd say to give 'em weapons that can "wound" the force bar (heal over time) to make dieing at their hands something for even a full temp to avoid.

Every profession, including MBH, is way overpopulated. How many riflemen did you see in the movies? How many combat medics?

But that ain't the problem. The problem with Jedi is the same, in a way, as the problem with Smugglers; they gameplay don't match the profession. Smugglers can't smuggler, and Jedi got nothin to do but hang out in starports and duel.

Agree with previous poster: Population is now beyond control (SOE will never REDUCE the population cos it will cost em money in lost subs), so the problem isn't pop size, its visibility. Check out this post for some thoughts on how to make jedi (even full temp) want to avoid vis

I think implementing these ideas, perhaps along with the dark troopers idea suggested in this thread, would have the desired effect of reducing the number of jedi commonly seen in starports. The next step is to introduce a new FRS that gives jedi a decent endgame to occupy them once they have full temp. All this together would probably keep all of us much happier

On my server, Kettemoor, alonethere are over 450 jedi. Sounds like overpopulation to me.

Ok, you guys really need to get over this. The game changed. The game has Jedi in it.

We were also told in Beta that a JediMaster could easily take on 20 elite profession's. Do you want that to happen?

I also disagree on you seeing more Jedi than MBH's. On my server,I see more MBH's than Jedi.

I know some jedis duel because they are bored and some other brokend and borked things. Thats wahy im saying theres somethign that must be done, not to reduce population or to nerf jedis. But if you run to a starport and duel Vader should drop and kick your in the mouth

Game lack some real content for all of us they should work on that now wich game is getting older and loosing more accounts to other games.

Ok, first this post is not a flame. It is merely the truth, and that truth is that our job as Bounty Hunters is to keep the population down ourselves. It's what we're here to do, and it's why Jedi missions are available on the terminals. Remember that this is OUR game, and SOE is just continuously doing changes, and updates to keep us occupied. Seems to have worked so far, don't you think? Many of the ideas posted in this thread are good ideas, and mind you I wouldn't mind seeing a Jedi get pasted by a squad of Darks myself. The only problem with that is that the npc's would be doing my job, and costing me credits. Why do you ask?, because I am a Bounty Hunter, and I am the one meant to be controlling the overwhelming appearances of showoffs, and morons who have nothing better to do than not play the role of thier chosen proffession. My Job ... OUR job ladies and gentleman is to make those who lack the true dedication to the Jedi profession QUIT trying, and that my friends lowers the population of Jedi. Thus in turn paving the way for those truly dedicated, and who are willing to die a thousand times to have it. To those people I salute you, and I offer a warm handshake to you for your hard work, and preserverance thru all of the bounty's taken out on you, and deaths costing you massive amounts of experience. You truly deserve to be Jedi, and no one can take that from you.

So in closing my friends, my fellow Bounty Hunters ... Remember why you're here, FUN. Remember your duty ... Eliminate the wannabe's to control the population of Jedi. Most of all, remember that it's OUR job to do this, not SOE'S. Our profession was given this ability for a reason folks, and it was not to complaine, nor was it to throw the responsibility of controlling the Jedi back onto those who gave it to us. Overcome this Adversity, and the Jedi will surely lose numbers. Look at the brightest side of this ... even if the Jedi do not decrease in numbers that is more money for us, less xp, and glory for them.

Atleast 1 in every stormy squad carried a t21, + you can't really tell the e11 rifle and carbine apart. As for CM's most millitarys in the world have 1-2 for every platoon

I think there are too many Jedi, they are running around everywhere and try to get as much attention they could possibly get.
