B ut the issue is that a full template Jedi has no reason to fear death right now. THey care less about XP loss or death in any form of combat. Until there is a real reason to fear death and a 50 50 chance of dieing from any MBH they will not change their ways.

keep in mind, when obi wan dehanded luke's accoster at the cantina in ANH....

NOT ONE SINGLE WITNESS YELLED "OMG THIS IS IMMERSION BREAKING...THERE ARE NO JEDI IN THIS TIMELINE...OH GAWD...DEVS HELP...WHERE'S VADER? OMG OMG OMG OBI WAN OBVIOUSLY WAS AFK GRINDING SINCE I HAVNT SEEN HIM BEFORE NOW OMG TOO MANY JEDI OMG; /CRY;/WHINE"

in fact, the conversations fell silent for a short moment, then picked right back up, they all knew what Jedi were, they knew they existed, knew they were far more powerful than the average gunman, and they knew not to open their big fat mouth and complain about them.

welcome to starwars...stop crying because your hella lame.

Watch carefully, he also applied a Jedi mind trick. Look at his expression and eyes, you can tell he is using the force to make people forget he was there.

Do you also remember that shortly afterwards a squad of stormies turned up, and in Han's words (or nearly anyway, can't remember exactly what he says) "Looks like your hanywork's attracted some attention"?

Do you remember multiple jedi dueling in the street outside the Mos Eisley cantina? Do you rememeber the rebel commando squad in RotJ getting ganked by a hit squad of 10 dark jedi? Do you remember the stromptrooper patrols in Mos Eisley getting demolished systematically by a jedi knight?

Or alternatively do you remember Obi Wan hiding from Imperial attention, and paying Han extra to avoid Imperial attention?

Hmm, Welcome to Jedi Wars, bye bye Star Wars...........

do you fear death?

Yes I do I hate dieing and taking decay on my stuff, I hate to die. Jedi do not seem to mind anymore. Most carry one pvp LS that is ADK'd and their food and robes. I carry clothing with tapes, armor with tapes, a psg, various jewelry items and other stuff to just have a slim chance against a full template. everytime I die they take decay. I do not care if I cause XP loss, I do not care if i get to hunt them, Hell I would like to hunt smugglers or crimibnals just as much and kill the xp loss and jedi missions, let vader deal with the jedi. All jedi get an extra account that I don;t so if they get vis and are hunted down by vader lock that account out for x number of minutes, the more vis they get the longer the lockout, or the more freqwuent the visit from vader become. I am just tired of Jedi dominating the PVp and CGCW game, I do not want a jedi, I could have had one months ago, I just want to have fun and be an intergral part of the game. Right now I am just cannon fodder in GCW, something to buy the Jedi a few extra heals so they can stay alive. I pay the same amount as anyone else and should have the same rights. A MMORPG can not have an alpha class, and complaining Jedi are soo much tougher to get went out the window with the 2 week full template grind going on on Kash right now.

its funny...but I don't remember any of the st squads or rebel commandosbeing main characters

ANYONE dueling

and I remember them discussing the sum of 16k credits for transportation, and luke saying he could buy his own ship for that much

most of the time, you cant even get a swoop for 16k

AND

Obi was looking to avoid imperial attention while traveling through space, he was quite capable of doing his own thing on the ground

Well its a good thing that this game is loosely based on that movie then becauase if it were as set in stone as most of you want there would be very little to do.

This is a game, not a linear movie. In a movie the writer/director decide the direction that the movie takes. In this game we are the writers, and directors every single one of use. That is why it is a mmoRPG. The Developers have given us a "Sandbox" to play in, and it is ourjob to make the game.

Timeline? You hacve seriously got to be kidding me. This game has not followed a timeline since the last cries of alderaan quest over 1.5 years ago.

What you are forgetting is this game cannot be the linear experience a movie can be. Just thinki about what all in this game was not in the movies, take it all out and we have not alot. We are starving for content now, can you imagine if that content was shrunk down to the size of ANH?

Go play and have fun. If the sight of a Jedi drives you to such anger maybe it is time for you to quit playing the game, or go to another title. This is starwars, Jedi are a part of that story. If you dont like it i am sorry. If you get angry over it because the game is not following some timeline that the Developers stated back in beta then you really should just quit.

If you are mad because things stated in Beta are not how it is happenenig now then quit.

Damn I mean if you are this upset by a game I would hate to see how you handle real life.

QFE. I bet if a lightsaber made the same noise as a cdef pistol, you wouldn't even turn to look.

I do find it funny that BH would complain about the population of their prey. Kinda like a deer hunter saying, "there are too many deer." Knock the population in half and you'd complain that there are not any jedi on the terms to hunt.

That already happens now.

Jedi Hide on Kash to grind they whine that they are too hard to find.

They grind out of the MO on dant and they whine that they are there showing off thier glowsticks.

Jedi cannot win, no matter what we do someone has a whine.

Poor sad people that cannot get over the fact that not only is it a game, but it is an ever changing game.

Lightsabers and Jedi is to star wars as apple pie and baseball is to america. there are more registered deer hunters in the state of pennsylvania than there are active members of the US armed services....and ain't no one taking our pie, no way, no how.

I think that it is time that we all accept that the game we play has no resemblence to the movies. It is a role-playing game that shares the same universe, but due to the characteristics that accomplany a role-playing game, it is impossible to confine the boudaries of the game to the movies.
