Thread: To those pondering a switch from Pistol 0404 to CM 4000. I have 2 words of advice: do it!

From what I've interpreted from the CM forums, at the moment those effects don't stick very well unless you're master (something like 75% even then) this is sorta backed up by the fact that at xxx2 I stick poison onces every 10-20 tries.

So Your MBH/MCarbs 4000 CM? You like it? Lemme know....cuz I love carbs...would hate to give it up.

I'm MBH, M Pistols and CM 0400 and TBH I think this is even better than CM 4000. I still get really nice heals at 0400 and I would say the poison and fire stick 1 out of 2-3 times. Get a Nyax Necklace and some Medical Warfare AA/CA and you're laughing. At a corpse.
And as for the starter of this thread I totally agree 100%. You NEED the jedi to hit you to drain his force. I can tank a Jedi really quite well using Duellist, Intimidate, Bacta Spray/Shot and Instant stims when I'm on myback. The DOTs are handy as they forcethem to heal too. Plus when they're hitting you so much, they think they're winning. We know otherwise ![]()

i have been debating doing it, but i dont have my respec token, but then again it shouldnt be that hard with double xp going on, or am i wrong, im not a noob to the game, just to the medic profession, lol
As long you're in a group and just heal you can get cm 4000 in a couple hours.

I did this, the chance of the stuff to stick is so awful. Like 1 out of every 4 tops. So I am trying master now.

If you are a BH who goes after high priced marks (>170k) then this is the way to go. I've found that with root, I spent most of the battle trying to control my marks rate of attack. That is, using root you stop your foe from attack you. However, for the high level marks this is not entirely a good tactic. Why? Because you NEED the Jedi to attack to use up his action and force. Sounds counter intuitive but if the Jedi is not attacking they are not using their force and action pools. In that case, the fights came down to me eventually running out of fill for Ruby and not being able to heal quick enough.
As an expert Ruby user with Pistols 0404, MBH, MR, by expert I mean I run timers to let me know when I can heal again without using up the Ruby buff thus optimizoing my Ruby Bliel usage, I'd say so far, MBH MR CM 4000 is worth the use of the respec token.
The accuracy of x4xx branch (+40) can be obtained via crispic. You lose stopping shot but a kd and startle shot is a good way to stop your mark from moving for a couple seconds.
With the new duelist stance (250 def), Vegeparsine (+105 melee def), another +185 melee def from MBH, MR, CM 4000, thats 540 total def. With the healing, I now feel like a tank..A tank with a bad ass rifle =).
I think Aanu makes some very good points and has a good argument for picking up CM 4-0-0-0 when fighting those higher end Jedi... I never picked up anything over 160k+ since my only reason for being BH is to prevent Jedi from progressing too quick and I personally think the EXP loss stings the most at the lower levels...
Anyhow, my question is this:
If yall are using yourself as a "tank" to drain down the Jedi's Force Pool do you not find that the cost of them ripping through your expensive armor to off-set the overall profit margin in the long run?
Reason I like my root so much is I usually dont even have to wear armor...
