Im gonna try to do this:
TKA
master pistoleer
and master smuggler
I think that will work well, i know how well everything works and i think this will be a good pvp temp. My only question was how much damage are we looking at for pistoleer? Which special attacks are used in pvp? how much dmg do they do compared to others (rifles, carbines)? all help appreciated.

Hello fencer board. I had a question about getting 2 lines of fencer. I was thinking of 4 4 0 0, since I would have decent attacks to use with my stun baton and i'd have nice speed and capped defenses. I am getting fencer in order to pierce comp if my swordsman skills or TKA skills fail and to cap my defenses. Any tips are appreciated, Thanks.

With what, a vibro blade?
Most everyone in PvP uses at least a MK3 PSG, which makes the common stun baton (175-250 damage) do little damage. Use Fencer to cap your defenses and/or to slap some DoTs on people. KD/dizzy with TKM and switch to Swordsman to punish thier mind pool while they're trying to get up.

I would just stick with the Doc 0-4-4-0 and drop the crafting line all together and go buy your packs, I think you will be much happier this way.

My biggest reason for doing the Doc line is so i don't have to rely on others to buff and heal me. That's also the reason why i don't mind doing the crafting aspect of medicine. I want to be self efficient and not need others to make and use the buffs and medicine. I have a harvestor droid so i don't need to worry about that and I have harvestors for the rest of the required ingredients.

I also agree with the above poster, it would be much better to drop the crafting line of Doctor and pick up the skills boxes of Fencer. Unless you have collected all of the resources needed to make your doctor packs, you can easily buy them from a med vendorinstead as the quality will be much better.

Thanx for the reply. I have one last question. I have the options of either going Doc: 0-4-4-4 Fencer: 0-0-3-0 or Doc 0-4-3-4 Fencer: 0-0-4-0. So now my question, which is a better trade off, being able to use the high end buffs or having the skill mods from the fencer?

I wanted to get some opinions on a temp that i'm thinking about doing.
I'm thinking of doing one of thefollowing:
Doctor: 0-0-4-4
Fencer: 0-3-4-0
or
Doctor: 0-0-3-0
Fencer: 0-4-4-0
I'm trying to figure out if that extra doc spot will do me any good. projected remaining temp will be:
Brawler: 4-4-0-0
Teras: Master
Medic: Master
Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.

What are you hoping to do with Doctor? The first template (0044) will allow you to use more complex medicines and allow you to make medicines pretty well. But you don't actually learn any new skills (such as cure disease/poison or revive).
If you want some useful skills, then you will need to pick up something from the first two lines (XX--). The first line will allow you to cure poison/disease and use fire blankies. The second line will allow you to apply buffs and revive. Depending on what medicines you want to use, you may also need to pick up some medicine knowledge (--X-).
So, if you let us know what you really want to get out of the Doctor profession, we can maybe give you some other suggestions besides the ones you've listed.

My main goal with Doc is to be able to make buffs and then be able to use the buffs. I'm using the fencing line for the defense mods that it has. I hope this helps.

- If you want to use buffs, then you need a minimum of (x 2 x x).
- If you want to use high end buffs that are rated at 90 med use, then you need a minimum of (x 2 4 x).
- If you want to get the most out of those buffs, then you'll need (x 4 4 x).
- Now, if you want to actually make those buffs, youll need to add (x x x 4). This will allow you to make the D-buff packs in Action and Health. Tomake D-buffs for the secondaries, you'll need Master Doctor.
Your best bet would be to get (x 4 4 x) and then buy the packs from your friendly neighborhood vendor.
Alternately, if you just want to get modest buffs then you can make the B or C buff packs. But you'll need to experiment with this a bit to see what works for you.
Hope this helped.
