Thread: How many BH's are not getting names with seek bounty from the seeker?

I get maybe 1 name out of every 12 to 15 Jedi I hunt. I am as surprised as the Jedi are now and my .5 of surprise is gone.

I hardly ever get the name from the seek target option... I get the same message I normally get with the track target option only it only gives me the message one time. This bug needs to be fixed asap.

Sometimes I don't get a name on the first seek. When that happens I just immediately launch another droid and the name shows up on the second try.

maybe it's a timing issue. Have you tried waiting a bit before launching the first seek?

I have tried both of those solutions... I have sent 4 seek target droids in a row with no name at all... So I gave up and just saught out my target not knowing his name. I won anyway, but it was alot more difficult when the element of surprise was completely obliterated.

Trying to narrow down the problem here.
Which of these do you do first?
Are you hitting a planet and doing a seek?
Are you hitting a planet and doing a track?
If you do a seek before you track do you get a name?
If you do a track before seek do you ever get a name?
I know many BH's are in the habit of doing nothing but tracks because it doesnt cost you a droid.
One of our Server programmers has been unleashed on the target not online problem.

I do "seek" first and sometimes it just returns an updated waypoint with no name. I've been lucky and getting the name the second time I do a "seek".

I finally had gotten a mission and was trying over and over to get the seeker to give me the name trying different things ive been reading on the forums to get it to work .. My seeker would find the mark but not give me the name and I could tell from the location that the mark was in a house or cantina in a city .. I went to Theed and kept trying the seeker droids ... i got frustrated and walked away whil i had a seeker out looking and when i come back to my computer i hear a saber being used .. about this time i get the name from my droid LOL! the only time ive gotten a name so far was with the mark within visual sight.. heck I cant even get an online jedi anymore 
The mark I was after was being chased and doing fretty well against what looked like 2 BH's already .. and killed one but I jumped in and helped finish off the Mark ... gave half of the earnings (226k) to the other surviving BH and walked away happy until I logged on tonight and couldnt find an online Mark.

any info on what constinutes "terminal griefing"? there are still a lot of confused people out there because of what you said last week.

What about the terms showing missions of offline jedi?
What about the fact that Kash missions are on the terminal?
What about the fact that we can't EVER get a name for a Kash mission?
What about the fact that we can't track Jedi on Kash?
Either take Kash missions off the terms or let us track them!

First bounty.
Generated at Kadaara target Rebel
Launched Probot near city
Target was located at the Weapons Depot on Naboo
Launched a Seeker droid.
1st Find Target (name failed to generate)
2nd Search and track
Waypoint updated no name given
Launched 2rd Seeker droid with find target
Name came back in 1-2 mins.
No other problems.
