Why? Leave your house out of it. But it's definitely "acceptable" compared to hiding in a house and perhaps even logging out.
This question is a hard one, but I suppose it's very ok. We come prepared and you guys are usually grinding with all your mighty friends, which leaves the potential for you being severely hurt.
If you have full bars, excluding force, stand up and fight! If not, go in and do your jedi stuff and then come to fight.
Don't EVER hide (and logout), we WILL be back and become ever more ruthless and callous. We WILL monitor your characters on/off-line status and if you're silly enough to come and taunt us with your alt, we may just monitor that too.
I am currently on a 32k target, who I caught up to on Tatooine. This was first intented to test a new approach (startout-move, beginning shot, whatever), but now it has become a personal manhunt - hiding in your house gains you nothing: No bounty-removal, no respect, no XP, no nothing, except a "wimp"-check on the bounties list, which means it will be the nasty ones coming after you, who does it for the sake of you being very lowlevel, easy-picking and never going positive in Jedi XP again.

While I failed to get the "attack" in this screenshot (the idea of testing how many Jedi exploit this system had yet to occur to me), this Jedi attacked me 3 times. Missed twice and hit once for 130. Shortly after, she went running for the house about 2K away. She logged out shortly after.

Hats off to this guy. I accidentally did an area attack while he was running away and aggroed a big mob of Boll pack runners. They actually DBd me, and I cloned. When I went BACK to fight, he stood his ground as best he could. I finally caught him in the water on his way to shuttle out of MO on Dant. He wa the lowest level Jedi I met last night, and the only one to stand his ground.

This one was funny. Found her about 1.5K away from her house. I lagged right past her and had to turn around to start attacking. For about the next hour she would run out of the house, attack, run in the house to heal, run back out to attack, run...well you get the picture. She logged off when some of my DOTs starting doing serious damage and she couldn't heal strong enough to continue coming out to fight.

I saw the name and just HAD to try and go kill this guy. Found him grinding about 800m away from his house. He started a good fight, but alas, like the rest,found it better to run inside. Logged out shortly after.

She was the BEST fight of the night. WOW! She had some really cool force powers and incapped me twice. On the second incap, she got arrogant though, and started to bow as she watched the DB timer count down. I did manage to get up and heal enought o continue the fight. Without the DB warm up, or lag, I would have been dead right there. We continued to fight about 3 minutes more, but I think the paralyze and heals starting playing "mind games" with her, or her Force was running low (she used A LOT fo Force), maybe both. Damn that Force Choke hurts, and I think it's acts like a stasis as well, i couldn't heal while shewas choking me. At any rate, in then end, she got to her house. I had a long night, and stood there when she came back out to get the "quick ride" home. I was too tired to do another round of "Lokiandrea" to waste time until she logged out in the house.
So there you have it folks. This is what Bounty Hunting has come down to for me. I guess I should have used better tactics though right? I should have waited till all these Jedi were 10K away from their house, riiight? Like that would ever happen. 5 Jedi....Killed one, and the rest hid. Gotta love it.
On a side note....if anyone thinks I'm lying just ask for it latter, I have the screenshots (I'm tired now), I asked all 4 hiding Jedi if they knew it was an exploit to run into a house after attacking a BH? 3 said yes. I asked if they would do it again if I "come back", all 4 said yes.
It's a GOOD TIME to be a BH...

so basically u are like any other BH in that u specifically target players that u think are female because u feel that women are inferior players to males. this is not news.
i have been out hunting w/ female players and they are hunted waaay more often then men, especially if u look at the fact that male players overall outnumber women across the board. its sad and its awful.

the one jedi that didnt run died.
that shows u that if a jedi wants to live they have to run. jedi have no power until they master a profession. yes, he was brave, but he is now officially in the hole too.bravery gets you nothing but a screenshot of your corpse floating in water.

When did the terminals start showing the sex of the mark? I missed that patch I think. Anyway I thought most female toons belonged to 53yo males IRL.

I have no idea if this hunting thing is true or not, but if you wanted to know the sex of the Jedi, it's pretty easy to tell by the name on the terminal.
If it is true, it's probably because many male players assume most female players are inferior at the game. If any of those guys hunted me because of my name, they must have been embarrassed afterwards. It might explain why the only bounty hunter to EVER take my mission twice was a female too. The rest never came back.

Ok, comedy aside. You've just made a massive generalisation accusing Jedi as exploits. Cheating happens on both sides, the "/duel" bug has been used to gain a 1-way TEF for Bounty Hunters for months.
Well I must admit I wouldn't be able to tell by the name most of time, the names are too obscure. I know a player who has a male toon Jedi and a female toon alt so I know the sex of the toon doesnt always have much to do with the sex of the player. I have a chef that is a female toon on another server, admittedly that is a bit of a neglected toon these days, but I am a male IRL, and most of my toons are male. None of my toons have particularly gender specific names.
I also fought my first EVER mark with a female toon last night, was a real good fight too until her force bar was gone so she ran inside her house (no different to most male toons). The fact the toon was female had no relevance whatsoever to me and I had no idea what sex the toon was until I first saw the mark, I only look at the price (156k tells me all i want to know, it tells me the reward for winning and the approx level of force powers I am going to come up against, I'mnot interested in sex, faction or guild after that).
p.s. I didnt get the kill, I still sent a "good fight" tell despite the exploit and then my usual "until next time" that I send to any house sitter.
