1. use your debuffs
2. paralyse is your freind
3. learn your template (dueling a freind helps)
4. MCM no matter wether it's FOTM or not is unlike all the other combat prof's, you need skill, tactics and cunning, not a magic I WIN head hit saber throw kd etc etc.
Considering you have a Jedi alt you should be able to at least PvP to some degree (unless kashyyk or ebay was your choice of grinding)
Good luck and good hunting

Actually I am one of the only 2 remaining orginal Jedi Guardian 4/4/4/4 on my server.
About paralyse. That seems to only work at the start of the fight, afterwards my dots keep breaking the damn thing it seems. Is this the same for everyone else?

If thats the case whats so great about it. To be honest, when im playing on my jedi, and a bh comes to paralyze me at the onset, I usually take that chance to run to the bathroom to take a lead real quick lol. Ive never found that paralyze offered the bh any real advantage against me at all.

i hate to break it to you but if you don't understand the purpose of paralyze there is no way in hell that you're anywhere near a decent pvper. i would suggest you stick to the pve, apparently you're not too shabby at that.
man i know cm is fotm but, id rather hit a jedi with 5 shots before he sees me than paralising somone 2 meters from me who has a big glowy sword
here is what you do noobs
/sit next to target
/paralyze
/thyroidrupture
/traumatize
/hemorrage
get up
/kd
/CM snare (i forget the name)
run and shoot
you will pwn them every time

hmm funny, other then grinding back in the day I have spent maybe 2% of my game time as a pve'er and 98% as a pvper. I think I do ok thank you very much. There was only one bh on my server that ever gave me a challenge, and a small template tweak fixed that. Im not too worried about my pvp prowess, Im simply playing it on the other side of the coin now and its a side I dont know anything about so im trying to keep an open mind and learn.
If you follow these two rules and drop the mission whenever you can not engage with these parameters, you will achieve success . There is nothing wrong in doing this. This is the BH way and Jedi's are 1.5 stronger for this reason.
