Thread: Defensive mods
I've heard the defensive mods such as knowndown, melee and ranged aren't currently working. Is this true?
If so, that makes tera kasi sitting ducks I'd think.
Im just going to say it, we need some **edit** defensive mods. Right now all other combat professions have more defensive mods than we will ever have and on top of that all their mods work very very good.
Lets look at it like this, we are the hardest to obtain combat class out there yet we get defenses that are equal to that of a Master Dancer (**edit**?). Every other profession recently had their defensive mods increased greatly (not really sure about commandos though).
Around the first couple of months of the game, we were considered to be very very powerful and we were but not anymore. In the first couple of months they made some hideuos changes to alot of our moves and their affects which brought us in line with the other professions. And the continuing argument will always be our one move, "Eyeshot", which targets the mind and is very useful against someone not wearinga helmet but it is going to be moved to master eventually.
Now every other profession is getting there defensive mods raised and most of them are also getting there offensive power raised as well while we are left the same for months.
As it is right now all of our moves sound great but when used against someone with +30 dizzy defense and +100 dodge/counterattack/block, etc and +20-40 knockdown defense and +20-50 ranged defense. Clearly with these defenses we will be lucky to even hit our target and when we hitthem, our precious state affects will have no affect on them what-so-ever due to their defenses.
Our offensive powers were "nerfed" while everyone elses offensive and defensive capabilities were greatly raised. We really need some defensive mods or make our offesnive capabilities stronger like they used to be.
