Thread: Knockdown recovery

Sorry if this has already been posted, but has anyone other than me had problems with the Knockdown Recovery special? I heard something about it being a Commando bug on the Test Center board and I'm starting to think that that's what it is. With my other character I could always get up immediately, but with my Commando character ifhe was holding a Commando weapon he wouldn't be able to get up until he was already incapacitated. Anyway I just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing this problem as well. Thanks!

I thought knockdown recovery was bugged for me, too. I later realized, however, that the reason I could not get up was because I was dizzied and my template did notinclude dizzy recovery.
By the way, I've also heard of people not being able to get up with commando weapons out. I personally don't have this problem, though.

Its a known (well was) bug that the devs squashed...should be in the update they had today...
I'd be able to confirm (or others) though, if we could just contact the log-in server...

I am getting close to my final template and I just noticed last night that once I completely drop brawler I will no longer have Knockdown Recovery. How do full template Jedi, who don't have a normal novice profession, get back up when they are knocked down since we have no Knockdown Recovery skill anywhere in the Jedi professions?

In the jedi initiate box in force progression you gain KD recovery

I have been looking over and over the jedi skills and I see no knockdown recovery skill what so ever... Only thing I can think of is just to get and keep novice brawler but come on that's 15 points that I really could use in my jedi skills. If anyone knows the way around this could u please let me know.

"YOU CANNOT KNOCKDOWN RECOVERY WHILE KNOCKED DOWN"
What's with this message? I was dueling some guy earlier on Ahazi and he knocked me down. He got me down to nearly 1/3 health before I finally stood up. Granted with my combat medic stuff I was able to easily take him out after that, but it is frustrating. Any idea why this happens, and what I can do to minimize the time I'm knocked down?
