I have seen something similar to this, the person would use a rocket launcher and knock me down, then spam startle shot and not allow me to stand up. Perhaps this was done to you? Or something similar?

I am well acquainted with startle shot and disarm shot, and I was not subject to either of them. It must be a bug, I guess.

Ok seriously, this has been happening to me more and more lately. I get knocked down, and absolutely CANNOT knockdown recovery. Can someone tell me what is going on?

I get this all time and no I wasn't startled or disarmed. However when I see this happen to me I fire off an Underhand shot as soon as I do get up and hope it happens to them too, Sometimes I will throw in a startle shot or a disarming shot, or both, just to make sure that they see it too.

I have been getting weird messages too.

"You may not used Aimed Shot while fighting"

huh?

or killing Banthas on Kashyyk

"You may not attack while swimming"

...and we were no where near water!

"Your target is too far away to Burst Run"

I wonder if more people had this little issue.

Everytime I am KDown by a Jedi...or by anyone, for that matter...and I try to use KD recovery imediately after being KD, it says "You cannot Knockdown Recovery while Knocked Down".

What the hell? Any way to counter this ridiculous bug?

you could try the /kneel /stand trick. it's rumored to work, but not sure if it does. just giveit a go.

Would this work, it'd make the KD Recovery useless...thus giving me +15 skill pts

since you get the message that you can't do knockdown recover whilst knocked down, it should work.

anyways just give it a try. if we don't try we won't find out. adn if you find it works, post it so others can use it, wiht the assurance that it works. :-)

Well, I'll add this one in...If you get hit with paralyze, startle, or disarm while knocked down you will receive that message, but can't get up cuz of the delay on those attacks.
