Thread: Duel exploit still ruining it.
Umm well...
Bro hate to tell you this, but if they /duel you then that means they aresuspicious of you. So even if /duel was fixed, they would still be suspicious of you right? Soooo if they are suspicious of you already then that means maybe you werent being sneaky enough.
All im trying to say is, if they /duel you, then that means you are to close if you are not ready to fight.
You dont stand in the open5 feet away from the deer right?
/duel has never bothered me because of the fact I dont make it look like im a bh. I dont swoop near them real fast and say OH THERE THE JEDI IS, I BETTER SWOOP AWAY REAL FAST SO HE DOESNT NOTICE ME. No ! That doesnt work.
If this "exploit" bothers you, then perhaps you arent fit for being a BH.

yes but soemtimes you pretend your hunting krayts or soemthing just waiting for the opertune time to strike ... and theyy may use /duel on you and it ruins it

Um, Jedi are suspicious of EVERYONE. Ever been in a grind group that had at least one Jedi in it? Or any sort of group with Jedi in it at all?
yeah suspicious is fine but /duel answers the question definitively. We can't have that. I am a known bh because I am good at killing jedi (hit 75 kills today) but a jedi should not be able to know for sure if I am or am not after them. Jedi travel in packs and all they have to do is duel you to see which one it is and then you get the jedi that you are after saying "lets just go then".
To the guy that said if it were against jedi it would be fixed already...you are right. Look how long it took the jedi tef bug that allowed jedi to run into their house to be fixed and that was a horrible bug.

Thats good and all but why do the jedi have to see you??
If you HAVE to be so close to a jedi to where they see you, pick up rifles for cover, or better yet invest some points in the cover line.
I try really really hard to not let jedi see me so I have the element of surprise. If you are standing close to them hunting krayts, im pretty damn sure they are gonna examine you and see see " Has mastered the bounty hunter profession. "

Get over it.
There is a difference between a bug and a exploit. Exploits will get you banned, suspended or a warning. Doing a /duel will not get you any of those. Its a BUG. Oh yea, and no Dev said its a exploit. They said its a problem and will be looked into.
BUT the real problem is, you need to get better Jedi hunting tactics or stick to NPC Marks. If Jedi has the time to cursor over your dot on radar, do a /target then a /examine, the jig is up already.
Dont treat Jedi bounties like NPC bounties and you'll see better results.
