Thread: Petition to make those on your ignore list not able to duel you.
Good point. I think that should be a working idea.
I have spoken to several CSRs about this exploit - yes, they all say its an exploit - and they encourage me (and others) to report this. You just gotta get the chatlog where the /duel requests are written. If he (the exploiting jedi) doesnt say anything in spatial say something yourself and make a harrasment report on yourself. That way the last 100 lines of chat is saved. Follow it up with an regular exploit report in the holocrone.
Thats what all CSRs been advicing me.
(The /duel is in fact an exploit since its concidered a bug. Jedis or anyone else isnt supposed to know whos mission you got. By using the ingame bug to get info they wouldnt have got in any other way they are exploiting the bug. The info is the benefit of the exploitation of the bug. Thats why its concidered an exploit)
Keep reporting it until SWG devs has come up with an solution.
how about this:
there is a box for declining all invitations to group.... why not have a box to decline all offers to duel.
So that when we are hunting jedi we can just turn this box on.. that way even people we dont know can spam /duel/enduel at us and we will never know.
/duel;
"you can not duel, you are onhis ignore list"
Think to self: He must have my mission.
Great idea. Or not alow you to accept. If a /duel was imediatly ansered with "XXX declines your duel" you would know he did not have time to respond or has auto decline. Most BH's would be on auto decline alowing you to assume he had your mission. However, it the request was alowed to go through, but you got a message "you can not accept a duel because your chalenger is already attakable" would not give away your mission.

Because you hate them and might want to kill them in a duel to the death.

If you want to duel them you should have to take them off ignore.
its not a exploit if someone types /duel
the DEVs should have never put into to code that u cant duel someone with your mission
