Ack, misused [Enter] key.

Anyhow.....

Did I miss something? I thought we were gonna get the responses from the Dev Team to our issues today. I see that a response has been posted for many classes, but not ours. Just curious.

They broke all the professions up into classes. The combat classes got the first responses. We fall into the Scout/Hybrid class, which was fourth in line. so most likely the responses will be tomorrow for us.

I hear all this talk about changing professions and how that the holocron tells you which professions you need to master to unlock your FSCS. Where is everybody getting this from? I don't see this in the post Q-3PO made yesterday.

Has the planetary caps for city sizes changed? I thought Rank 4 and higher were in the same group. So if you were at Rank 4, you could (pretty much anytime) grow to Rank 5. Have they separated Rank 4 and 5 caps?

I just got a message stating my Rank 4 city could not grow to Rank 5 due to "too many large cities on this planet".

this is a known issue..

the theory i like is that say the cap is 10 rank 4 or 5 cities on a planet. just for easy maths.

currently on this planet there are 5 level 5's and 5 level 4's.

one of the level 4's is ready to grow to rank 5. during the city update the system works out many things and finaly decides that yes you are good to grow, but we already have 10 rank 4/ 5 cities so no can grow. it is not taking into consideration that the city is already in this 10.. it is counting 5 level 4's and 5 level 5's and 1 that wants to grow from 4 to 5 = 11. this is not true as the rank 4 going to rank 5 does not change anything cap wise like a city wanting to grow from 3 to 4.. does this make sense?

i dont know if this is true or not, but its the one theory i have heard that rings true to me.

1st holo: BH - done... finaly.
2nd holo - commando - done
3rd holo - BE

Hunden's theory sounds logical to me and yes it is a known issue so all you can really do is bug report and submit a ticket then wait it out through all those nice polite ticket replies .

the very first time they posted about the staggared caps it also had mention that the rank 5 limits would be half of the rank 4 as well... so most likely this is still in the code.. and it got skipped in the final draft of patch announcements.. the layout format of the message was different in the first announcement too.. so the anouncement was rewritten.. so it would not be unlikely that a mistake was made in the patch notes

Sadly, it does. This sounds like something that could happen. My in-game ticket was replied with "nothing we can do". I have an email going back and forth with a CSR who said he would "talk to a dev and see what he could do".

Thanks for the replies...
