Thread: FOUND; work around for white conned npc marks

i am a bh on farstar and have had 3 diff white conned npc marks i have been able to engage the marks by going combatant and standing near them within 5m for several second they turn yellow and engage me. this is a working fix i have found at the moment till the devs figure something better out.

An AOE will also get them out sometimes, the problem or bug with that is it works for anyone not just BH.

I had *6* white marks in a row earlier yesterday, I wanted to drive my head through my monitor.....

Yeah, I hadn't had a white mark all week, and tonight, 2 out of the 3 marks I had were white. So frustrating.

comeon now this is a viable work around and people need to know about it so they can actually enjoy hunting and not have to abort the missions please give it a few bumps to keep it front page

if the aoe is a work around and works for everyone wouldnt you be able to get help on fighting like say a boss mark by getting a friend to aoe an opponent?

I dont think you need to be combatant, because marks auto-aggro the BH once you get close even when they arent white.

This hasn't been working for me tonight...I had 3 white marks tonight, none would turn yellow no matter what I did. Combatant, aoe attacks, stood next to one for 5 minutes...nothing.

This sounds like a bug... also I always stand near them for a few seconds before attacking (getting buffed etc.), they never aggro'ed me, but strangely enough, when they're in cities/outposts, they aggro other NPCs and even players, but not me

pulled a mission last night, he was white conned when i got there. thankfully he was actually in anchorhead, went to see the reb recruiter, was still white conned when i went overt, but when i went spec forces he then conned red.
