Thread: Is it AT ALL possible to hunt jedi on Kashyyk?

it takes a little more searching, but its worth it, cause usually you have a real easy fight on your hands cause your target will probably be afk. You know they aren't afk if they /duel /endduel you, so watch out for those. If they don't do anything when they see you running up, its a peace of cake. Just run to the feral wookies on the ryatt trail and tab.
Hm its too difficult for me to hunt on Kash cause even when u go to the wookies in every instance and check if ure jedi is there and not in another instance like the 10 instances myydril cave or somewhere else like the blackscale area at trando camp... the leader of the afk jedi grinding group can still drag his zombie friend to the los spot and laughs at u.
Kashyyyk = mission delete since pub 20 for me

knowing how rare those people are , might as well pay himthe entire amount...not to mention there a few jedi i know who have pay off some rangers just to NOT take on the assignment from a BH.

I've actually been having great success tracking down marks that are on Kashyyk, post Publish 20. Albeit, with the help of ranger tracking to speed things up. In fact, the past five "online jedi" missions I've gotten have been jedi on Kashyyk. I've been so successful finding them that the Jedi in one of the groups said that he was going to report me for harrassing them simply because I killed too many of them in a couple of hours. LOL ... as if I have a choice in who I target when all the missions are randomized.
Anyhow, just have a ranger scout all the instances ahead of time. You can do a complete survey of all the instances in 10 minutes if you have ranger tracking. At most there will only be 2-3 groups of Jedi on the instances. Just note which ones have the Jedi and only search those that have groups. Since half will be AFK, the groups don't hop instances. They tend to stay put, so your group list will be accurate for a few hours.
Also, once you visit one of the feral wookiee camp instances, note down all the jedi's names and, importantly, their faction. Most of the time the groups will be populated with same faction jedi. I think this is mainly because guildies and same-faction friends tend to group together. Once you know the faction makeup of all the instances, then you can play the odds and first visit the instances with jedi that are the same faction as the one you have a mission on. This is not fool proof, but it maximizes your odds of finding the jedi you want.
