if we could get names, hiring a ranger would be fine, but having a ranger track doesn't help very much at all because we don't get names on kashyyyk.

i think they're just doing it to see what instances have jedi on them and if they are imp or rebel, running down the options that way.

as it is now, i don't know of any way to get the name of a mark on kashyyyk besides tabing to it, so the ranger thing isn't really useful post 20

In either event, Kashyyyk marks are the best ones. That's just free money right there... most of the time.

Hm its too difficult for me to hunt on Kash cause even when u go to the wookies in every instance and check if ure jedi is there and not in another instance like the 10 instances myydril cave or somewhere else like the blackscale area at trando camp... the leader of the afk jedi grinding group can still drag his zombie friend to the los spot and laughs at u.

LOL. If the group leader drags all the AFK Jedi to the bridge, then that means ALL of them are losing grinding time. I would welcome a group leader who does that. LOL.

Actually, would that not be considered "helping" the jedi mark? If so then that would not happen, as it would not allow another player to drag them anywhere. The only time they would be allowed to drag them would be at death. Frankly I don't approve of AFK grinding, no matter what profession it is, with the exception of entertainer (soo boring).

i think he means that the afk player is following a player that is there. the player that is actually at the computer would run to a LOS area and then the afk jedi would follow

Definitely possible, but annoying as heck. Tonight I couldn't find an online Jedi that wasn't on Kash so finally I just took one and went for it. I finally found my mark in the 5th of 6 instances on the Ryatt trails. AFK of course. It was disgusting togo to 5 instances and find the same thing in each one....a clustered mob of AFK Jedi spin attacking. Then again it was a no brainer killing him. Didn't even have to waste any food or spice to do it.

I'm wondering how you people are tracking your marks, via a ranger, on Kashyyyk post pub 20. Am I missing something or did they reinstitute names into missions? Just curious.

No...names are still missing. You just have to physically go to each one and tab through everything to see if you can target a player. Doesn't really take that long to be honest and its easy money.
