Does anyone know the best weapon to use as a MBH/Carbineer or MBH/Rifleman? I'm debating which one to use.

proton carbine is always nice for BH/carbines, although you might get a little better if you had some insane tissues

Hard to give a single best weapon. Really depends on multiple factors which lead to multiple weapons. One weapon may be better against NPC's but not so good in PvP. Then in PvP it depends on the target. The higher the targets defence compared to your accuracy the minimum damage becomes more important then max damage. For instance that 5 mill maxed out on damage krayt laser rifle will not be much better then a normal laser rifle against a Master Defender. Against a high defence opponet your damage output is pretty much based on your weapon's minimum damage. The only way to raise minimum damage in the crafting stage comes as a huge hit to final speed and action cost.
This is the point where weapons like the Heavy Lightning Rifle come into play. They have elemental damage which is added in and only effected by your targets resists. The elemental may be low but is important in PvP IMHO. I carry Krayt versions of Advanced Laser Rifle, Heavy Lightning Rifle and High Capacity Scatter Pistol on my BH/MR. May not have great pistol speed but kinetic damage comes in handy at times.

Czerka Dart Carbine is decent also, it does kinetic damage which a Jedi's PSG will not protect against.

Just my opinion but I don't think most Jedi would wear a PSG. Most of the Jedi I've noticed use a pre-nerf Belt for SEA's. This means they can't wear a PSG. I know first hand because I have one and can't wear a PSG.

I beg the differ. 2 of my targets yesterday wore PSG's. They were both full templates and if it werent for my Czerka Dart Carbine i dont think i would have defeated them.
But my primary weapon is a 428-1024 dmg Elite carbine with 73 without power up. I gave it a 12% speed slice and it gets the job done

Well on my server all the experienced Jedi have belts. PSG's do not give a blanket protection like the old PSG's used to. That's why most of my friends would rather wear a belt with a speed/accuracy enhancements.

Other thing to remember about PSG's. Only takes a few hits to run em down to useless. I wear a pre-curb belt on my Jedi for skill bonuses as PSG's really arent worth it.

I beg to differ. For a young jedi that is still grinding, a PSG could sperate them from life or death. While grinding my friends jedi, if I see a BH nearby I throw on a PSG and use forcerun. If they attack with an energy gun, that PSG gives me the seconds I need to get away. (That is if I am not rooted or on my ass)

i just use a Krayt T21 rifle, its the only thing i use, for both PVP and jedi. in a regular PVP match, if i get advanced sniper on them, i can take out half there life in a shot, and for jedi, it varys, but i usualy do very well against a jedi with my T21. i do have the other weapons, scatter pistol, heavy lighting rifle, but those are just to grind, or show off in places like eisly

Well I don't run so there is a difference. For me a psg will be done in just a few hits. The skill mods are there for the duration. Some food like synsteak will work just as good for a quick getaway. But the value of a psg over a modded belt would depend on the mods. If the modded belt had some high saber and general melee speed it would be a grinders best friend.
