I have master BH and novice pistoleer. With this combo I can apply 4 health DoTs (health shot 1, 2, bleeding shot and torso shot). My first question is will these all stack and apply a different bleed? I know they would in the past but I just want to make sure nothing has changed.
Second question is what is the best weapon to apply the DoT attacks with? I think a bleed used to be calculated by how much damage one did prior to the targets resistance. If I'm attacking something with 60% acid res but only 5% heat or energy should I use something other than my scatter pistol? Or shoud I always be attacking with my highest damamge pistol regardless of the target's resistance?
Thanks

Not sure how it works, but can tell you I have shelfed my scatter and LLC, due to the high resis. on composite THAT EVERYONE WEARS. I have been using good old energy pistols and carbines, seems that everything old is new again. Most people cannot get the highest resis against acid, elec, heat, and energy. Not to mention my 2 uber geno pistols

You are right about shelving the weapons. But on armor I wear a set of comp that is 80% kin, and 79% base everything else thanks to a very good smuggler hehe. I love that armor and will be sad when I have to replace it. Only thing it does not have is stun and there is where those geno's come in. the best stun I have seen is a 37% geno's can rock a persons world.

That's great but you've answered questions I havn't asked. In prolonged battles I always use torso shot for the added wounds so that when people clone they aren't fresh every time. Even though BH weapons are relatively weak now due to people's armor I'd still like to know the best weapon to apply DoTs with.

I am pretty sure that torso shot and health shot do stack to provide enhanced bleed DoT, and I know for a fact that either/both stack with torsoshot. Lately all I have been doing is hunting ERs cause I need the money. My attack is always: Torsoshot, Healthshot2, Bleedingshot, eyeshot (for the blindness state), then bodyshot2 until dead. Very effective. I was fighting a bunch of Tusken Snipers the other day and I was doing Bleedingshot, Torsoshot, Healthshot2, then pistolmelee 2 to knock them down. The combined DoT was so effective that they were basically dead before they got up just from the DoT.

I would think they would since they would be hitting different pools in both cases.
Give it a try on something and find out.

hi guys, ex MCarb here, returning to it soon.
my question, i never used dots with carbineer.. now i ve looted a pretty decent (decent as far as my memory recalls, been away from the game for a little bit) mind poison E11. should i save it for my return to carbineer or just sell it?
i just remember being able to kick enough tail so that i dont think i d really need it. but i d love to hear other opinions.

Dots are allways usefull... even if they damage a pool you don't attack your enemy (in pvp) will get nervous when dot'ed...
But you won't make yourself friends in the other faction because of using it...
