Thread: You Respeced to MBH and Want to Hunt The Jedi...
- Go to a BH terminal and look for missions. Once you select a mission it will be downloaded to your datapad.
- Next you need to talk to an informant (list is stickied), but the most common one used is in Kaadara next to the star port (convenient).
- You talk to the informant, and he will give you the bio-signature of your mark.
- Now, you are ready to launch and Arakyd probe. You have to go outside the city limits for this.
- Using the radial menu on the probe, launch it, you will see some system messages and in a short while (20 secs or so), the probe will land.
- Go to the Probot that lands, click on it to activate the radial menu and transmit the bio signature.
- After a short while you will get a message saying that your mark is on Planet XXX.
- Go to the planet, and you will see a waypoint to your mission. That was the mark location at the time you transmitted the bio-signature.
- Launch a seeker droid, using "Find and Track" option.
- After a while your WP will update and will keep on updating at regular intervals. If you get a message saying "...droid lost target", launch another seeker.
- Go to your mark and collect you bounty.
Now, the above sequence of events is for any mark. Of course for Jedi, you have to check to see if he/she is online. Best way to do this is to put them on your friends' list. Do not pick up the mission of Jedi that is not online.
Most importantly, try an NPC mission if you have never hunted bounties before. It is a good exercise to learn the mechanics of droids and missions, plus 30K is much better than regular destroy missions anyway. ![]()

Helpful information *and surprise it wasn't a flame considering what forum it's in
* Now if the DEs on my server would just stock the probe droids I could earn my licks and start making a new name for myself.

My wife and I were both Novice BH with most lines finished before the CU and finsihed our investigation after. We couldnt seem to getpast bugged missions prior to CU. Missing marks and what not. Now that we have MBH and hunt Jedi we seem to be pissing them off with our succesfulness against them. My question is there in PC (politically Correct) way of hunting jedi so we dont get remarks like respec noob. Yes we respeced to finish a bugged line, but after being nice enough to let the mark kill his current enemy and heal then we fired away. He had a chance to run but decided to attack and then attack again after the first incap. We were even going to offer him a deal to pay our bounty so we could delete it and save his xp, but by attacking again he didnt give us a chance. Are we being too nice by offering any chance?

Tanks makes me sick to encourage griefing the remainging Jedi knowing dang well that everyone has respec'd BH and once you kill a jedi you basically set him back months in this current system. Think what you want but this type of encouragement is totally sad in everyway.
SOE planned that everyone go BH and ppl like Tanks to send them for the Great SOE Jedi purge after were gone BHs will be nerfed bigtime.

Your prejudice is showing. He's not at all encouraging people to grief. He's not at all encouraging people to hunt Jedi. Believe it or not, there IS a difference between fulfilling one of your goal's predefined missions and griefing.
He's putting that information out there, in part, to help cut off the constant stream of "How do I hunt Jedi" posts. It's a good idea.
GJ Tanks... Lets see if we can get all servers full of Respec BH's, using the broken stopping shot, so they can gank on new Padawans trying to earn a 200K low level Jedi box... which currently would take weeks...
Ty for showing respect for people that took months grinding FS, using millions in armor, foods, weapons, etc... just to get ganked by one of the million new bh's while trying to level the only way new padawans can level... hunting with a couple friends in this new wonderful "must group" system you've created

I have been doing missions with my jedi friend but it was kinda annoying to have a BH after him every ten or five minutes. They should make something about it as it looks as serious harasment and it prevents people from enyoing the game.
It's not harassment. The BH is fulfilling it's intended purpose. Don't be mad at the BH's if you think you're friend's being hunted too much. Complain to the Dev's and campaign for a change if you feel one is warranted.
great!!
But how do you tell the difference between an NPC bounty and a PVP bounty??
lol im just a girl /giggle

Well, the following is a short summary.
Bounty Hunters hunt marks, NPC and Jedi, using droids which are sold by droid engineers. There are two kinds of droids, an Arakyd droid, and a seeker droid. You will use an Arakydn only once in a mission, but might have tolaunch several seekers.
The Arakyd droid is used only once. It is the droid you use to find the planet that your mark is on. You will use the seeker droid once you arrive at the planet.
The sequence for a bounty mission is terminal->informant->Arkaydn->seeker->mark.
Lets start a mission:
- Go to a BH terminal and look for missions. Once you select a mission it will be downloaded to your datapad.
- Next you need to talk to an informant (list is stickied), but the most common one used is in Kaadara next to the star port (convenient).
- You talk to the informant, and he will give you the bio-signature of your mark.

Thanks a lot tanks. Now they ALL know how to. At least while they were begging for intel about how to play bh some jedi were taking a little breath. Just keep doubling the bhs cause we can t get enough.
