At what CL will grouping with my pet increase mission levels and payouts? Currently when I group for missions I am actually going down in level instead of up. For example on Corellia I can pull level 25 without a pet grouped. When I group a pet I go down to level 20. I was just curious when this trend would reverse itsself. Thanks. Btw Im a 4/4/4/4 swordsman for my combat half of my template if that helps any.

Yes, the missions are based on the average level of the group. So, if you are level 35 and not grouped you get missions based on 35. If you group with a CL 15 pet your total level is 50. Divide that by two and you get missions based on 25.

It depends on your skill and Weapon your using and the pet you have. I'm a carbineer so I don't have that great of a damage weapon. When I use my Hurton Maitron lvl 29 he looks like an even match to meungrouped,my Gual Mauler lvl 35 he looks like a tough fight ungrouped. TheMauler and the huurton maitron bothgives me better paying missions.

Not doing any math or anything I would sayifthe pet is an even match or higher than it willmost likelygive you better payingmissions.

Ifanybody else has more to share I would be curious aswell.

I'm a 3333 pilot and grouped with a 3222 pilot. We went on one of his skill missions he needed help with, but I could not damage any of his mission critical ships. The only thing that has me concerned is that I'm Freelance and He's Rebel.

Does anyone have any quick insight on this? I'm still wading through the search engine, but I can't find anything explicitly.

i have this problem too but a friend of mine does not. I had my own duty mission in my datapad from a different planet, could that have been why? Maybe u can only help your group if you dont have any missions of your own in the datapad

If I was to group with say 4-5 would this increase the size of my bounties? If so this would increase the XP associated with the bounty as well?

I don't think so... I think it's only based on you and what weapon you're carrying. (Please correct me if I'm wrong though... I haven't started Investigation yet this time around and it's been a while since I was a MBH.)

These are the following things that will increase bounty pay:

1) The weapon you are holding. The bigger the damage, the bigger the pay. So at BH 0000 you will get the best pay while holding the LLC.

2) Your character's expertise with the weapon you are holding. If your character is more very proficient with one weapon it will increase your pay. Therefore, BH 0040/Master Pistoleer will get better pay while holding a pistol than while holding an LLC. Yes, the LLC is higher damage, but because your template is so good with pistols you'll get the better pay. However, at MBH you are as proficient with the LLC as possible and therefore the your highest pay will be with that instead of a pistol.

3) Investigation level. Novice BH has a Bounty difficulty mod of +1, Inv 1 has a difficulty mod of +2, and Inv 3 has a mod of +3. So basically having Inv 1 or 2 is better than Nov BH and Inv 3 is as high as you can go. No, there are no difficulty mods at Inv 4 or MBH, so at Inv 3 you will be getting bounties identical to the ones you get at Master.

4) Skill points a Jedi has in Jedi professions. At Inv 3 you are able to hunt player Jedi.Jedi bounties will consist of 1000 credits per individual skill point invested in Jedi skills. I.e. MLS costs 89 skill points so a bounty for a MLS Jedi will be 89,000 credits. Because Jedi Padawan requires 24 skill points invested in Force Sensitive skills, the maximum SP a Jedi can have in Jedi skills is 226. Because only Jedi skills count toward bounty size (not FS skills) the max bounty for a non-Force ranked Jedi is 226,000 credits. *NOTE* The lowest a Jedibounty will pay is 25,000 credits, regardless of skill point expenditure.

5) Force Ranking of the Jedi. If a Jedi enters the Force Ranking System, it is possible that his bounty can exceed the 226k cap. It has yet to be determined as to what ranking generates what pay, but there is definitely an increase per Tier Ranking, i.e. a Jedi Guardian will pay more than a Jedi Knight, and a Jedi Knight will pay more than a non-FRS Jedi. Supposedly bounties have exceeded 1 million credits for the higher ranked Jedi.

6) How long ago your Jedi had a bounty on him collected. As the game is designed, when a Jedi bounty is collected by a BH, all new bounties issued on that Jedi should be reduced for the next 3 days. For non-FRS Jedi the bounties are dropped to 25,000 credits. For FRS Jedi the bounties are dropped to 50,000 credits. However, apparently this system is rather bugged and Jedi are being issued new bounties at full price within the 3 day grace period.

*NOTE* Jedi bounties are only influenced by conditions 4, 5, and 6. They are not influenced by conditions 1, 2, or 3 (although Jedi bounties are not offered below Inv 3).

The following will NOT influence Bounty size.

1) Group size. No matter what the size your group is, your bounties will not be influenced. A BH with a group of 20 members will have the same pay as a BH without a group. This includes players, factional pets, droids, and creature pets.

2) Slicing the BH terminal. A sliced terminal will offer bounties just as large as an unsliced terminal.

3) Player city rating. The percent increasefor mission pay from city rating "Improved Job Market" only affects normal missions. It does not increase Bounty Mission pay.

Any other conditions not listed in red will not influence bounty pay.

I can verify this. They do exceed 1 mil, but the Jedi has to be a council member/leader.
