Would the buffs and bonuses granted by SL apply to the SL himself as well as his squad?

Can grouping with as few as 1 additional player be considered a squad?

Can you group with droids, pets, or faction soldiers to form your squad?

just wondered if someone could give me some advice on this "grouping" thing. I am a conbat LVL 80, just starting the tedious FS grind. I was able to find a hunting group usually in oasis paradise on tatooine, valcyn. now that they have those mission terminals bugged, where would be a good place for me to find a hunting group? is this the only way I can gain XP? everytime I try to solo I get killed even if the creature is like a 79, 80.....any suggestions? IS SOE ever going to change back so you don't always have to be in a group? any advice or suggestions would be great!!
