Thread: What's wrong with running jedi?

I don't understand... post-cu jedis don't even have a chance to fight you, all they can do is running and hiding. So I ask: did you spend 5 months to get your ability of training novice BH and other skills? Do you lose hours or days of grinding if you die? Are you hunted by other players? Come on... if a jedi runs it means you won. And if you say 'yes but I get no money': you can hunt NPCs and sell the new loot they worth a lot more than a jedi mission. If a jedi runs you can be angry, but stop whining about it, I hate those tells. Sorry for everyone who is not involved, I'm tired of all the cheap BHs on my server.

Yea, there's nothing wrong with running away. Just go read Sun Tzu's Art of War.
A smart man runs away from a fight he knows he can't win. It's not cowardly to run away from a fight. It's like that in the real world too, when the bigger guy comes and beat u up, u better run ( or call for backup) unless u have Bruce Lee kung fu ala pre-CU TKM or u gonna get whooped.

or maybe i just dont want to fight maybe i have something else i want to do for 30 minutes. i can think of plenty of other things to do other than chasing a bh around in circles. and sometimes i just dont want you give bhers the satisfaction of a fight

It's amazing how different Jedi are from one another. One Jedi complains that the new loot takes BHs away from hunting Jedi-thus Jedi get no content. Then another comes and says that he doesn't ever fight a BH because Jedi are the BH's content. Werd.

i have no problem witht hem runing its just annoying after a 10 min fight when your enemy runs away ya know

Nothing wrong with running, and it's smart at times.
What bothers me is when a BH stays atleast 32m away at all times while shooting with their ranged weapon, then they get mad when the jedi runs...Of course they are gonna run, they can't get to you, why stick around getting nailed? I realise this is pretty much the only way a BH can win(And of course I do it also. /evilgrin) though.
Don't let jedi get you down, this is a game, have fun. Go kill someone else.

it is kinda annoyinh after it takes 20 mins to get the mission and i usually stalk for at least 10-20 mins then a 5min fight , then he runs away kinda sucks... (especially since you have no chance of running... maybe a shorter targeting distance... 125 meters is too close of force run

Let me sysematicaly disect your post.
.Yes post-cu jedi have a chance, i know plenty who have lost little to no fights vs 20+ bh since the CU and they unlocked right b4 or shortly after. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it's impossible.
As for hours of grinding when they die, you chose to be jedi, in return for being stronger the grind takes longer. Cry me a river build a birdge and get over it.
If a jedi runs it doesn't mean they won, it means they don't get paid.
As for the new loot, perhaps they feel like pvping maybe? You know this game isn't all about haveing credits, i just took a crap and that's more valuable than those credits.
And being cheap is a bh's job, your supposed to be prepared for him. Not him prepare you for him.
ANd finally, i'm a jedi with mls/mp as my template. And i think you are a moron. Call me a flamer, i say what i think.

simple if you dont want variation dont go after players there is nothing in the jedi handbook that says we have to fight.
btw just because he runs that dosent mean the fight is over pull another droid and ummm... run? because you can chase him yay!

I had two straight days of cloaks and force runs (mingled with a brutal loss) then tonight I get two 200K + Jedis in vastly different circumstances, it's what makes being a Bounty Hunter fun, the unknown before you arrive of what you will find...a Jedi that cloaks , a Jedi that runs or....one low on health while he PvPs, one attacking a Krayt...etc...if you hunt enough you'll find the ones that don't run and the ones you wish they would have ran before sending you to the cloners...keep in mind that most times when I have had a conversation with a jedi that ran or cloaked , he usually says that "I was low on force"...I believe it most of the time...

sometimes i run even though i know without a doubt i will win the fight. sometimes i fight when i know i'm goin to lose either way i only fight when i feel like it. some people think i have to fight when they want me to
