It's amazing how different Jedi are from one another. One Jedi complains that the new loot takes BHs away from hunting Jedi-thus Jedi get no content. Then another comes and says that he doesn't ever fight a BH because Jedi are the BH's content. Werd.

Simple, one is a weak Jedi grinding, other is a full template Jedi that has very little to loose. And group viz is STILL broken since they never fixed the other objects in game that give viz.

It took me 4 months to finish my template pre-CU and that was at least 20-30 hours per week. I spent almost every weekend during that time hunting krayts....solo missions to buy pearls. The 500 number that you use if very much on the low end of how many Ihunted. Countless tunes to get a perfect set.

Therefore, you crying to people like myself because 4 perfect pearls didn't land in your inventory when you unlocked means nothing. I have no pitty for jedi nowadays....notsince I took my first tour of the Ryatt trails.

As for thesubject of the post...nothing is wrong with running. The SAME way that nothing is wrong with hitting a mark when he is low on health, already in PvP, etc. It's calledgaining an advantage.

What IS wrong is having your friend DB you whilst we are fighting, having your friend spamming offer ride while we're fighting, the "duel" exploit. All of these Ihave seen first hand. I have to say that being on both sides of this fence now for 2 years I seeTONS more exploits used by jedi than I have seen used against me when I'm on my jedi toon. The numbers don't even compare.

it is kinda annoyinh after it takes 20 mins to get the mission and i usually stalk for at least 10-20 mins then a 5min fight , then he runs away kinda sucks... (especially since you have no chance of running... maybe a shorter targeting distance... 125 meters is too close of force run

If you do it for money: NPC marks' loot pays a lot better. If you do it for the fight: you can drop the mission and duel the jedi, without the chance of losing xp. Jedis don't run if they don't have to.

Or you can just drop the mission and challenge the jedi to a duel as I mentioned above. Why is it so important to ruin other's gameplay if you can have exactly the same fight and everyone is happy?

Why is it ruining anything? Risk/Reward, you know all about it before the old man turns up. Can you show me the post where you complain about getting ganked by Siths, forcing you to fight them and "ruining your gameplay".

I RP a Bounty Hunter, a Jedi Killer, not a Jeebay dueling outside SPs.

It is an intended game mechanic that Jedi live with one eye on the radar. If you sux (not saying you do just if) then really you should not be playing a Jedi, which is primarily a PvP profession (or set of professions). There is a growing community on newbs (not saying you are one of them, just that your arguement is the same) that believe they have a divine right to a glowstick without any risk attached.

/point towards the copy of KOTOR on the "reduced items" shelf.

I am in 99% agreement with you on this. I remember days that my krayt hunting gorup 1 tkm and two rifleman, would kill 100 krayts in a day and come up with 11 pearls to share between the 3 of us. It was a lot harder then (hell i solo krayts to get pearls for guildies now). My only comment is that you may see more exploits used by jedi but you have to see that if a BH dies who frickin cares, he looses nothing but some condition on his armor. So With so much to loose i can see how you would see more exploits on the jedi side. If the BH lost something for loosing, say he/ she had to choose one piece of weapon/armor to go to 0/0, then you would see a pretty even number of exploits on both sides if you don't already.

You can duel a jedi any time, whats the point in traking them e.t.c to drop there mission and challange em to a duel? it's more fun if both sides are trying there best, and with regardess running its just one of them things.

I'm gonna disagree with you. Jedi is NOT primarily a PvP profession (not right now anyway). FRS Jedi is primarily a PvP profession, since the FRS is not ingame (and will not be ingame for sometime) Jedi are not PvP. The FRS is what forces Jedi perma S.F., not unlocking.

Just because you get a mission DOES NOT mean that Jedi has to stay and fight.......lol.

I absolutely agree that just because I have the mission does not mean the Jedi has to stay and fight, it is up to me to keep the Jedi in my sights. Running is often a good tactic for a Jedi. At the same time no Jedi has the right to moan about "forced PvP".

However, you just killed all credibility for your post with the PvE Jedi statement. Yes a good Jedi template is ideal for PvE, expecially for loot collecting. That said however, ALL PvE centred Jedi (the "forced PvP -no fair" brigade) I have encountered in this game are either Jeebay or just sux but got to the village by asking people like me to kill Mellachae for them and guard them till the Sith come etc. I cannot believe how easy it is to get a glowstick now and yet Padis still moan like anything until they get their "uber leet" template. You will discover that at the end of the Ryatt trail, when you have that shiny, new full template - you will still sux at this game and will spend the rest of your SWG time calling for nerfs on everyone but your template.

How's that for a sweeping generalisation?

Jedi should be the best equipped fighting profession in this game, but only the best fighting players should be able to get one.

I'm not whining about PvP.....lol. All I'm saying is alot of Jedi Skillmods are going to be tied up in the FRS (40% block at MLS, another 40% to be had in the FRS, extra healing from FRS, extra defense, ect.).

I have no problems with PvP, I have problems when BHs whine because I decide to take the upper hand away and Stasis then run. Then they think sending me nasty /tells is going to make me come back..........lol. There is no such thing as an "I WIN" button, but Menhancers have a "NO ONE WINS" button.

When the FRS hits and Jedi get the rest of their skillmods, then yes it will be a PvP profession, until that time they're just the ultimate loot farmers.

p.s. it was easier to unlock by grinding professions.
