Thread: BH's and Cloaked Jedi.

Not a whine post at all or a Nerf to cloaked Jedi. Wel to some it may seem to be.
The one thing that Cloaked Jedi should not be able to supposedly Cloud the minds of.
Your Droids.
Seekers give WP's for Cloaked Jedi because well they can see them.
Bomb Droids should be able to be fed the Bio signature of the Jedi to be able to automatically follow and detonate.
BH's should also be given Droids that are capable of attacking a cloaked jedi by also giving them the Bio Signature.
These Droids should also be able to be fitted with Modules (Crafted by DE's)that for short periods of time Can Expose a Cloaked Jedi. This ability by the droid can be placed on a cooldown which would be like a recharge period. Once the Exposure time wears off the Jedi is automatically Recloaked. The Jedi can be attacked by the BH during this Exposure period.
These Droids would be specialized for use only by Master BH's of course otherwise it would make cloak completely useless.
I am a Master Powers Jedi and IMO this makes perfect sense.
We can cloud the minds of the Players but Droids no they should be immune.
This gives BH's a Reasonable Counter to the Jedi cloaking ability while not nerfing it.

Im sorry but i disagree. Im a BH but i love star wars first not this game. Let me explain. In star wars the force is the all powerful and everything. I believe that the force is strong enough to fool droids or it wouldnt be a very powerful force would it. So even though your point might improve gameplay for my kind it would go against what i believe the force being capable of.

Umm using the force does not make you some kind of god.
Droids can be outsmarted but not made to disregard their programming.
Despite what your beliefs of the Force and your love of Star wars this is a game.
Cloak has no counter at all at this moment and a Skill with no counter In some cases is overpowered.
I"m a Master Powers Jedi and don't want my ability Nerfed to the point where it's totally useless and in it's current state unless something reasonable can be established to counter it. The dev's will deem it overpowering and go to the extremes to supposedly BALANCE it which will result in it's uselessness.
I offer this viable alterntive as it makes perfect sense and in this game should fit in.
If this is not a viable solution to you then well we can go by your beliefs of how powerful the force is and your seekers shouldn't be able to track me while i'm cloaked. As that is what your suggesting by your comments here.

that is what im suggesting. my job isnt meant to be easy and you wont stay cloaked forever. and alot of jedis arent so smart either on this game. i watched a cloaked jedi running around with force speed so he left a glowing trail right behind him. if this was another game without the force then i believe you would be right and your solution would work. in star wars they portray jedis being as close to gods as you can. the only thing they cant do that god can is create life and be invinsible. but in the movies they can live forever in the force and the force helped create anakin(he had no father). on the contrary though there never was a jedi move i seen that cloaked a jedi to make him invisible. im just the type of person who wants to jump in a game and it be as realistic as possible considering the theme of the game. as with this one the theme is star wars and in the star wars world jedi and sith are pretty much unstoppable except by each other.(smart ones that is)

I think you were able to disable/break droids in KOTOR.... and we all know thats where the game is going

aint obi using it in episode 3 sneaking in padmes cruiser when she was going to meet anakin.....?

So most of the Jedi Councle getting owned by Clone Troopers in EP3 means nothing? Well, concidering the state of the game i guess it really doesn't

Still, BHs command the droids. As far as I make you beleive there is NOTHING there, why would you want your droid to attack that nothing? If I make you beleive I don't even exist, why would you command your droid to find a non-existing jedi and blow him up? And if you could attack with droids while cloaked, I want to be able to destroy droids without breaking cloak.

cload sux, it never was in the movies, books, comics or other lucasarts games. Its basically an "I win" button, or more specifically "bh lose" button. Just today i almost incapped my mark, and i was 3 m from him and he cloaked.

It was in the movies all the time. Can't you see all the cloaked jedi? Of course, cos they are cloaked! It's not an I win button, it's an "I have a high chance of not losing another day of grind" button. If a jedi cloaked 3m from you, report him for exploit (it could have been lag also). Dude, stop crying.

Really? So what's with the 15 second cooldown? If I de-cloak, I cant re-cloak for 15 seconds.
