Thread: Bounty Hunter End-Game?

What do you guys think? Not really sure what we could put for our end-game. I think Player-Hunting would be a pretty cool end-game.
We could do this somewhat like Jedi, with a few differences:
1. Someone goes to a Bounty Hunter Terminal, or something else along those lines, and selects to post a bounty on a player. They put a certain amount of money for the player, and then are on their way.
2. (Not really sure how this should work, but here goes) The bountied-player is then sent a mail saying someone (Name's kept secret) has posted a bounty for you (Moneytary reward also kept hidden). Also, if a Jedi places a bounty on anyone, they are immediately placed onto the terminals, but their player-bounty still goes through (Not sure what we could do here with Jedi alts, but it's a work in progress).
3. One or two (You don't need three players to kill a non-Jedi, do you?) Bounty Hunters can get the misson, and then ensue to hunt the bountied-player. Also, if the player manages to kill the Bounty Hunter, the mission is lost, credits given to the player and the player also removed from the terminals. (This could be done by, say, finding abill or something along those lines on the Hunter's corpse, and taking it.).
4. A time limit of 24 hours is placed for players posting bounties, and a 3 day period is placed before someone can have a bounty placed on them again.
What do you guys think?

besides losing the money that you would have as a reward you can also have something takin away like xp or a vet award or something valuable so people would only do it if someone harrased them or exploited when they where dueling, gcw..

jesus if that happened on my server, i would be so dead, considering the amount of enemies i have made out there, lol

Any system where one person can put a bounty on another is basically a mechanism for griefing.

oh shut up about griefing, i bet you, like everyone else, brags about how strong they are, well this will add a new element to the game, and make you put up or shut up, just like everyone else

Great Idea! So, does the Person that Made the bounty Have to pay it or the Victum?

i say the person who posted it, if they are big enough to post a bounty, they should be able to pay off the amount, 500k minimum

i say 500k, because anyone can afford 250k ,but half a million shows that a person really wants this person dead, no matter the cost, plus, it will avoid poor people from griefing

i say you can put whatever you want from a jetpack to 100k for a reward i would want to be hunted i think

Maybe. Sounds cool You would have the option of offering money and items just like a vendor
I also would enjoy being hunted and asking who put the bounty on me just before ikill themhehe
