Most jedi feel the same that pre cu bhs are a true threat. Period. Sure, that will offend most post cus, but its reallly a fact. These guys have killed jedi in JEDI prime. The newer bhs have no clue what dervish can do before it was nerfed. If jedi were half as powerful as they were, id say 98 percent of post cu bh would quit or seriously whine to no end. Many dont even last on a perfect (and yes, nerfed) saber, let alont the old school ones. PreCu hunted Comp armor clad jedi. Or the sabers that maxed 1000+damage (yes post cu, they existed) I mean, jedi now is so stripped down its pretty funny. Hell, i remember i think it was mdntanger took out like 3 or 4 bhs before the cu almost by himself, during the "TEF" days when u attacked you were tefd. So, ive seen jedi in their greatness. So any pre cu i give mad props to, but those are the ones that keep me on my toes. not the post cu. This usually go hand in hand with the post cu jedi (which are the true whiners, myself excluded). These are the ones who want no "forced" pvp meaning you bounty hunters would be out of a job. I say nay to this because they realize now adays jedi is acutally WORK to master and perfect. You have to LEARN how to pvp. Its not ground up and bingo you are a demi god.
Anyway, yes, i see a huge difference between post and pre cu bhs. Of course, if jedi did actually get some of their powers, as in a true hitting LS, or Speed working or perfect prem crystal drops/pearls, old schoolers would be much more prepared because they have seen it. Cocky new ones will fall to the way side and eventually accept it and go forward, or quit the profession all together.
The pre-cu / post-cu division also exists in the jedi community as well but in reverse. It's even worse there as the pre-cu jedi want theirpower back so bad thatthey're pointing fingers at the newer breed like it's their fault for becoming jedi. At the same time, the post-cu's have no clue what it used to be like so they could honestly care less.It's actually quite sad and both communities, jedi and bh alike, really just need to drop it all and be adults and true gamers alike.
