Thread: Stop comparing pre-cu bh's to post cu bh's...

Don't come here and say CH is easy either..=)
And, I don't like Jedi's, but I don't exploit. I don't flame/spam them. I don't take them while they are loading or low on force due to grinding.

Easy to get kills with a pre CU BH back in the day if you are patient. Just wait for the buffs to wear out. Post CU, everyone is always at 3k plus health.
Pre CUBHhad melee stackers, or mass group efforts to kill a jedi, or the above scenario as a lone Bounty hunter.
Pre CU BH whined just as much about melee stackers, 80 pct range sabre block, limited defenses in the MBH tree,etc etc.

Out of the Pre CU BH which ones were the REAL BH's and which ones were only the PROPER.
Do you remember the argument Pre CU when you had to be a MASTER BOUNTY HUNTER to be a real bounty hunter because most everyone was 3000 bh master melee, lol
So what the grind takes a week now or they respeced to bounty hunter. everything has become easy. There is still no way to AFK grind investigation xp so aside from the respecs the bounty hunter still has to earn investigation doing missions or even what alot of Pre CU bounty hunters did and jam uplink to bases and that was easier to do PRE CU.
I mastered bounty hunter 2 years ago and guess what. there are respec bounty hunters that are better than i am. It doesnt matter that you mastered it 2 years ago or just last week. your still the same as i am now.
Well maybe you need to choose another profession then if you been a BH for 2 years and aren't good!
I never said i wasnt good. I only said i wasnt the best. Just like im more than certain your not the best either.
Im not one of thoes bounty hunters that look on the forums and pick my template from what is the easiest. Im not the cm/rifle FOTM bounty hunter of today nor was i the Melee defense stacker FOTM bounty hunter Pre-CU. I was an all ranged master bounty hunter when it was the weakest profesion in the game because that is what i enjoyed. The only thing that matter in a game is that you play to have fun and play what you enjoy win or lose.
ANYONE can be a great bounty hunter including the respec's or noobs if they choose the FOTM template and have the credits for good equipment. That is true now and was true Pre-CU. It takes a really good player to play something weak and still come out on top. which is something most of you can not do and are afraid to try.
pre-CU > post-CU
I quit after I get some uber loots to sell off. BH is a joke along with Jedi.
I was a pistoleer/BH pre-CU too. I loved looking for marks who didn't have MLS and got in andended it quickly with no armor or buffs. I have a record of 8 wins 3 losses post CU. Yeah 11 hunts because it is no longer exciting for me, no matter how hard I try, I just can't do it, this new age of BHing sucks the big one. As a friend of mine says: "all we are are waypoint chasers now". it's lame. I am one less BH that Jedi have to worry about. These forums are getting just as bad as the Jedi forums too,which is sad.

Any Pre CU ranged BH gets my respect, i was one myself and it was a hard slog.
Pre CU BH was all about dots and melee.
Post CU BH is all about root/snare/dots and healing.
The main difference is pre CU BH generally were there for the hunt and both parties enjoyed it a hell of a lot more, i know i did.
