Ok, started slicing weapons tonight had a few questions.

1. Do you need a weapons upgrade kit for every single slice you do?

2. Can you upgrade damage AND speed on a weapon or just one or the other?

3. Does the amount you upgrade go up when you get slicing 3?

Yes. You'll need one for every slice since they are used up.

In caves and bases and stuff where there are Mag Seal containers and Loose Debris, i dont get an option to slice them. Do i need to find and kill the boss and/or wipe out everything in the cave/base?

There is only the Emperor, He is our shield and protector.

Add locked breifcase to that list. Unslicable by a Novice Smuggler 07/13.

I'd like to see more terminals sliceable, at least for the experience if no particular minigame. Back in beta, almost all the terminals and stuff you saw you could click on and examine. Well, why not add a slice option? Or a slice option to elevator controls. Anything for a few extra experience.

How about slicing bazaar terminals so the items you auction give more credits than the guy paid for them? Or slicing travel terminals for a 10% discount on ticket prices. Etc.

You might want to ask over at the Smugglers forum, or maybe just browse there, I'm sure there's lots of usfull info on slicing there. Just in case your having trouble finding it, click on "galaxies forums" at the top of the page then expand the "professions" tab.
