Hey im just starting swordsman in the Brawler profession. I dont know much about this profession. What is a god weapon to start with until I hit Novice. And also what is a good weapon once I hit novice. TY

hey font.

welcome to naritus swordsmans there very few of us.

anyway, use a large axe until 2, killing small game. look on the baz for one, around 170 damage. because your a TKM your defense will allow you to just sit there and auto attack to 2 h 2 in brawler. then go get yourself a 2 handed curved. it will be the better sword even until master heavy swordsman. high action cost but health and mind arent that bad (around 30 while action is 60).

Even after you ding novice hs you should stick with the curved. go up techniques first all the way to 4 it will allow you to use the power hammer effectively (along with finesse which is aims towards accuracy). after techniques get the defense tree for mitigation 2. finish it up on offense.

stack your bleeds with your power hammer. i can get around a 4500 bleed tick to the mind. if you find its to slow and isnt hitting enough then you can switch to the curved until finnese is higher. by the time you finish defense you should be using the PH for everything.

i made myself a setup macro that goes like this(not reall commands)

/bleed 1; /bleed 2; /warcry; /intimidate; /intimdate.

pikets or qunekers on dant.

dont forget equilibrium either and CoB is very good for 2h as well.

good luck

I was wondering the same thing. I plan on mastering either swords or tk, but don't know which one will do better in a fight.

Master Swords pretty much pwns all in my oppinion. I imagine it would be extremly good against Jedi.

Head focused blast damage with a melee weapon is kinda unstoppable atm.

My current skills are master swords/pis 0/0/3/0 plan on going pis 3/0/4/0 for def and see how that goes. also, i've never hunted a jedi with a Scythe before, hanvted bothered to get one yet. from my personal xp, it can be hard at times but before i dropped it i just wanted to see what other sword/BHs are doing. and I have thought about TKM, but i'm just afraid of how bad (if any) it might get nerfed with the combat revamp, witch would leave me to do Fencer. dam, do many decisions... any input is nice cuz i really want to hunt jedi, just looking for a way to actualy do it.

What i'm thinking of doing is BH 4000, master swords, tk 4000. On other character i have tkm, master swords, master brawler and some scout. I have a scythe that is speed sliced at 1.8 speed which really speeds it up a ton. Dueling with ppl is pretty fun with tkm and swords, but i'm curious how either one would by itself, fair against a jedi.

I posted the same question a while back and the response from a jedi was as follows (in not so many words)

2 handed swords were to slow and Jedi took them out quick.

TKA was a fight, but the Jedi one pretty quick

Fencer all but pwned the Jedi in pretty good timing.

I have guild memebers that are Jedi now and the agree that fencer is the jedi killing FOTM.
