This has become tiresome seeing my log being spammed with duels and end duels from Jedi exploiting the duel option other what it is intended for.
Solution....let the duel go through instead of receiving an invalid response. If we win, the Jedi still dies and the bounty is collected as normal. Jedi happens to win, the mission is incomplete as normal..........

GREAT IDEA. 1 problem
That involves way to much code for the Devs to do.
I mean they are over worked as it is with swinging that nerf bat around left and right.

a) There are reports of Jedi being able to duel BHs with their mission - seems it has been fixed
b) When it was still possible to check if a BH had a Jedis mission with /duel, you did not get the request form the Jedi you had a mission on. The "challenges ... ends challenge" spam you got was from the Jedi you did not have a mission on, your mark's "/duel" would give him a message saying he is not able to duel you, and stop at that point - no message of your mark challenging you to a duel on your screen.

How about an option to auto decline all duels sorta like auto decline group invites.

Why?
Jedi currently can "/duel" BHs that have their mission, it is the same behaviour as on any other player - Jedi cannot tell if a BH has their mission by using "/duel; /endduel". Seems enough to me, no further work required.

Why fix it? Next tme a jedi duels you...and forgets to endduel. Blow up his bike/speeder/barc...then endduel. You can even accept the duel - do the KD shot, then end the duel.
dunno

That's a good theory, but the whiners macro their duel/endduel that it's not a point of them forgetting to "endduel."

I agree, the devs work so hard that they deserve a rest from it all. I mean it's better if they don't do anything, cause when they do, it causes a whole new set of problems. The complexity of the game requires a lot more planning and coordination, and I fear that the game has suffered not only a drop in quality but also a huge loss in many players because of this lack.

Happens to me all the time. Maybe some (most) jedi are not smart enough to create a macro?
...try flying through a group of grinding jedi. That's when I noticed them forgetting to use the macro or endduel.

You know you're right, most of them are dumb. And i think I'll try that flying through the grinding jedi thing. I always get kicks from seeing how many people I can get to duel me.
