Thread: FEEDBACK: Jedi (Player Bounty) Missions Being Moved to Master Box

Hi all,
As many of you know, Tanks is off soaking up the sun, and I said I'd keep an eye on this forum. I can already see a lot of frustration coming up about the now missing Patch Notes announcement.
Please channel all that frustration into constructive feedback, that I will pass on to the Developers until such time that Tanks returns and can take over. If you are delighted by the change, make sure your voice is heard as well.
The Devs really do value your feedback, so please share it.

This is a fine change IMO. Would like to see MBH box get some sort of Daze or root then.

All removing names does is pander to the Jedi players.I am sorry but no BH in his/her right mind would take a misson a JEDI no less and not know something about their mark.By removing the names it opens up the door to all kinds of problems such as:
It will be very possible to get the same misson on a Jedi that is on Kash, or one that is just afk in their house. How would that be fun over and over ? As more Jedi get their temps done and are more visible all the payouts will start to look almost identical.
My other b!tch is if there is Jedi flashing their glowsticks in Theed I cant say, "there is XYZ !! he is online" and then try and go get his misson. Sorry but if a BH saw a Jedi they should be able to check and see if their is a bounty listed for them.
I dont know how many of you have ever gone 1 on 1 with a Knight. But the guys that have the most visibilty know what they are doing (and /salute them) and win almost 80% of 1 vs 1 encounters with a BH.
All this change does is push us further in the direction of Jedi Knight Academy.
I dont know about you but I have over 100 Jedi on my friends list. Thats to gd many if you ask me.

Moving to the MBH box: A great thing if various 1-on-1 PvP special abilities (like gadgets etc.) will be added in the Master Bounty Hunter box too, justifying the change. If this is not so, then it's pretty pointless.

Simple, A bounty Hunter, should be a bounty hunter, not a hybrid !
*EDIT* whilst i think about it - with no intention of ever becoming a master bounty hunter !

you want a Daze, get smuggler or CM, want a root, get pistoleer.
I like the changes except they need a faction marker, and an online/offline indicator

Well After CU I took my fully templated knight and ground out a Jedi/BH template with invest 3.... and since I was a knight I already had -10 million XP... so now my character is worthless... since i refuse to regrind out of that hole...
I dont see how moving it to master was a big deal though... what im upset about is the Terminal Changes.... It completely ruins the "hunt" and makes us nothing but waypoint chasers.... To me the terminal change is just making an already to easy life for jedi even easier.

This is the dumbest thing this game has ever done. What is the point of being a BH then? Did Fett go off on a wild goose chase not knowing who he was chasing? NO! He knew his mark he knew his weaknesses and his hangouts. I for one say this is a game breaking change. What happens when u go after a member of your guild or an aligned guild? Are we supposed to abort the mission and waste the time it took to find them? One of the worst things $OE has done to SWG.

I like the change
I always thought it should be a Master BH rewardto be able to hunt Players. I mean, you don't want togive the Elite Marks to a Training BH.
With the Jedi Nerf in patch 19, it make sense to make the BH/Jedi a 1 on 1 encounter. I'm glad for the name being removed this way you don't have players taking mission who are just outlooking to grief others.

*edit* let me be fair and say, that if a Jedi want's to progress into the FRS, then they don't have the choice of being a hybrid, they have to spend the points into jedi. (otherwise they would prolly pick a mix and match like novice BH's have since the first respec)
BTW - no offence intended at honourable MBH's that have been around for a long time.

If that were the option I would! Id rather bank exp to open up something more than just Jedi.

Moving to Master box is an AWESOME idea.
However, If this is the case.
I think Bounty Hunter as a class should be buffed to handle 1v1 BHvJedi. Now, I am not saying make it super powered for PvP, what I am saying is that more bonus' should be given to MBH box, such as resists, or Crowd Control specific to Jedi.
Not nesesarily to the general populace, but to removing or debuffing jedi buffs, or restraining them to keep them at a distance.
If a jedi is supposed to be 1.5 make Bounty Hunter (Master) 1.25 and give them enough dot's and restraints to wear down a Jedi who isnt top notch 1v1.
