Is there a way to see when your TEF expires, or at least if it's active. There have been a few times where I think my hour is up and then I get railed by some rebel. It's not that I mind dying...all part of serving the Empire, I'd just like to see it coming.

Currently, there is no way to tell other than getting capped by an overt of the opposing faction. There is a petition somewhere for a fix to this... we'll see if it happens.

Get or go to a enemy npc mission, if they are red in radar you've got a tef.

I have a question about TEF.

Last night I was hanging out in a med center doing a little healing. A guy came in and said he needed a medic. I didn't notice anything different about him. Anyway, I laid a couple of wound heals on him and then some other guys ran in and they started shooting at the guy I was healing. They killed him right off.

Meanwhile, I'm looking around for someone else to heal, and suddenly they start shooting at me!!!

So I ran. I am master scout, so I burst ran. I think I would have gotten away, but I hit water... and as you know, if you it water while burst-running, you zap back to shore and are immediately "tired". So I got ganked.

Anyway... while I was running, I was looking for something that said I was TEF... but all my stat pages looked the same. So my question(s)...

How can you tell when you've got TEF? And how long does it take to expire?

Thanks in advance...

It takes 5 minutes to expire, and there is no currently no way of knowing how you have one. Its a royal pain, and you have just experieneced what nealy every medic has been through or will go through until its fixed.

I hate it myself, had it happen to me a few times.

I am now a 4/4 CH,and have my Graping Spider Hunter in the next room of the med center set to guard. Next person who attacks this healer in a Med Center is in for a nasty surprise

Yep. No way to know and it's a pretty big issue. It's made it up to #5 on the Big List of Doctor Issues (latest version will go up tomorrow for if you want to see all the dteails.)

I am currently 3-3-3-4 in CH, so I'm going to start doing the same... parking my biggest pet outside the door. That way while I'm burst-running, something will be chewing on their back-sides.

Hi,

This happend to a friend of mine last night, and I was wondering if someone could tell me why. He was running around Rori doing some faction missions when the Rebel outpost there was hit by a imperal attack. So he got rather messily, and quickly killed, no big deal. But here is where the wierd part came in. When he cloned back at the cloning center, he was again covert because of his death, but when he healed his pet, he suddenly became a target again, and got incapped DB'ed again. Over the course of a few min he got killed about 4 times, for no apparent reason that we could figure out.

The only thing we could figure out was that when he got DB'ed and set back to covert, his pet didnt, and so when he healed his pet it gave him a TEF just like healing an overt faction member does. Is this actually what happends? Has anyone else had this problem?

Yup, that would be the cause.

and can anyone provide anymore information about the visability counter. for example the range someone has to be in to make the counter go up and about what kind of visability do you have to have before bounty hunters start to try to kill ya.

As I understand it, it's a normal TEF, it lasts 5 minutes and lets overt members of the opposite faction attack you.

Nobody can provide more information about the visibility counter, nobody can even confirm it's existence or lack of existence. All that is known is that if you use your light saber or force powers you'll eventually wind up on the terminals.
