Thread: Why the jedi nerfs wont help anyone....

WIth us jedi getting nerfed alot more of you bhs will find jedi targets that will run instantly, I for one havent made up my mind yet but I will give fighting a bh a chance post 19 and if it sux ...well ill be a runner :/

Are you a developer, or maybe a higher up at SoE? No one person or small group of people got jedi nerfed, the entire community expressed its outrage over the fact that it was a clearly unblanced profession, and the devs balanced their healing.

no, it was the bounty hunters who complained that they sometimes lost to a padawan because he could heal. Now that heals have a 6 second cooldown, you will start to see many jedi getting doc 4/x/x/x instead of healer 4/x/x/x.

Jedi? Nerf? Only nerf I see is healing. Thier force powers do more damange and take less force. Sabers do more damage now!

no, it was the bounty hunters who complained that they sometimes lost to a padawan because he could heal. Now that heals have a 6 second cooldown, you will start to see many jedi getting doc 4/x/x/x instead of healer 4/x/x/x.
WRONG!! you Jedi wanted higher damage sabers. if they did that and left heals untouched any Jedi with any healer would be unstoppable. but hey some of you Jedi will not settle for any less. just my thoughts.

as they should. But the fact is, healing is the only thing keeping us lower levels alive, when the 5 BH's come a'knockin with their chain roots. Its discouraging to say the least, grinding for hours upon hours, then seeing it all go up in smoke when a squad of BH's come.

most 4/x/x/x CM's could heal faster, and better than jedi before this, so dont tell me healer needed a nerf. Its not even the cool-down I have a problem with. Its the fact that it takes ACTION to heal. So what happens when stun comes back into play where it stops action regen?

So how is this any different from what's nearly always happened in BH v Jedi? At one time it was Force Run, hiding in water,the 50k HP exploited bikes, and most recently grinding at the doorstep of your temp houses, passenger rides,and the LOS exploit on Kashyyyk. The methods change but the mindsets remain the same.

with bacta spray and toss enhancers, can alternate between the two in rougly one second to heal about 1500 points of health damage.

I'm a bit confused... shouldn't a class that is entirely focused on healing (doc)heal better than a class that's more focused on combat (Jedi)?
Also, in the movies I didn't see Obi-Wan or Yoda putting Anakin's arm back on using the force.

they should. IF their master doc. But when they can just dabble in 4/x/x/x in either doc or cm, and heal for the exact same as we could just getting 4/x/x/x in force healing, and then having US be nerfed, was a bit strange.
