Thread: KD and no recovery

was battling with a jedi (one to start with then the usual jedi friend turns up) and I got KD but could'nt get back up, of course they got me but had been doing fine till that point with the fight lasting over 10mins.
Is there some KD recovery bug exploit going around cause I was a bit perplexed at not being able to get up again after about 45 secs on the ground with out being able to recover?

Its a known bug.
use /sit /stand after hitting esc key several times

not an exploit, but a bug,
now, every time i get Kd'd i type /dump then KD recovery. i know it's a long a$$ way of recovering, but it takes a second or so, 4 seconds max to get up and heal. rather than the 10-25 seconds of 'you cannot KD recover while being KD'd' cr@p
Now, just macro it to /dump then KD recover

Did you get a system message that said "You cannot knockdown recover while knocked down" or could you just not get up?

I always get the "You Can Not Knock Down Recovery While Knocked Down". It seems to be tied into the Combat que. that seems to get Back Logged (For Lack of a better term). Having macro's running such a Deulist Stance for BH, or Center of Being from TKM seem to make this worse.

i found out what cuase this
1.when your click KD recov over and over again (bad to do)
2. When you try to heal right when you get the message.
What i do is wait till im on the ground and then hit it ONE time

/dump your macros, press esc to clear your combat queue, /knockdownrecovery ftw

just hit Escape once or twice, and click on KD recovery
assuming you dont have some stupid macro running.

Thanks for the input guys.
I don't use macro's at alland will try your suggestions.
Been doing the Luke SF quest and first target I saw was a Jedi, so as usual got stuck straight in lol.
Had 2 of them on me at 2 points in the fight, shame they can't go one on one, but like i say jedi pretty much think they rule the universe, except in a fair fight.
Sure hope they let us hunt in space at some point 'cause they gonna die in there hundreds
