Has anyone attempted to slice BH terminals? I sliced a BH terminal, but the payout (normally 16K)didn't seem to change. Anyone elsehavethe sameexperience?

Thanks in advance.

It is guesses but it appears showing off your force powers. Several jedi have speculated it is using force powers on other players or using them on opposite faction NPC. Nothing 100% confirmed

I know if you use your force powers on another person you get on the term's real quick and doesnt matter the persons faction.

so if I dueled a guild-mate for fun, I might be screwed?

How would I know if I got on the terminals or not?

So remember, when that Bounty Hunter who had a mission on you and just attacked you forcing you to use you light saber and force powers to defend yourself, chances are you are once again on the terminals and will have another BH after you shortly. SOE is creating a nice system for BH's to milk here. Neverending BH's coming after youbecause you where forced to defend yourself from the last BH that had a mission on you.

I have tested this and what i came out with seems to be just as confusing as before i even tested it. I hunted with guildies grouped/ungrouped some are neutral most are rebel. I hunted with imps grouped and even with some real life friends ungrouped. Killed stormies and random npc walking around. Durring this each day i had a master bh friend check if i was on and 4 days later i was still off. Now i know for a fact i was on the terminals over 5 times and never have i done as many no,no's before. I am very pissed that even if u hunt solo in a planet where u might not find any ppl where u are u will be put on. If i did everything in my power to get on and i didnt i bet the more carefull u are the odds of getting in are the same.

My guess is that your visibility raises as you either

- use force powers or just a saber on any NPC

or

- use force powers or just a saber on any NPC that you have negative faction for.

I killed some Marauder's tonight which I have -5k Faction for and I popped onto the terminals. I also did the Rebel Themepark and about halfway through was on the terminals. Going to see tomorrow if I can just stray from all NPC's whatsoever.

Its the amount of force you use between server resets. I don't know the number, but I do know it has nothing to do with hunting with others. I hunt with Rebels and use force powers like a madman. The next dayI thinkI hit the magic number and wala, I'm on the terminals.
I just stick to hunting with other jedi. A 4 jedi team is great, we even took out a BH with Ranger once.... barely.

Do we drop off the terms if a BH takes a mission and kills us?

My noob jedi got killed for the first time was hoping he would get off the terms cause I would hate to have another bh come for my weekling so they could boost there ego by killing him since they cant take upper level jedi

Nope... doesn't work that way apparently. Although no one knows for sure (including SOE, I'm betting), I've been killed by a BH three times in 4 days and never got off the terms. The terms (in my opinion) are bugged all to hell with no rhyme or reason on how you get on or get off them. Best thing I can suggest... play your main (not your Jedi) for about a week.
