Thread: You want balance? Make MBH on par with Jedi Master
the key here is to have numerous bh templates that can do well. i ama pistoleer and like the style of it over the actual effectiveness. i just can't get myself to be a bh you poisons and paralyzes my opponent. i can guaranteee that a win for me feels a little different then a win for a mcm,rifle bh. i am not flaming just stating that a mbh profession on it's own should be viable.
personally i feel that it is time to make the jedi profession on par with the other professions. too much is being ruined in the game.

LOL. I beat Jedi a good percentage of the time as well. My point is that since SOE is trying to make this the "CONFRONTATION" that they need to put us on par with MSL and Master Defender, etc. Tactics have become less of a factor as well, even for the Jedi...

Most Bounty Hunters in the Star Wars Galaxy are loners. Give us the ability to be a solo class. If that requires making the progression to Master Bounty Hunter harder, so be it. Should it be as bad as the progression to Jedi? No. There are supposed to be more Bounty Hunters than Jedi. Has the irony struck anyone elsethat the current feeling about Jedi seems to be at a point where Palpatine's edict in Episode III would gain a similar response on the servers (cheers and applauds)? Give us the ability to go one on one with a Jedi. Give us balance.
So let me get this straight...
You want MBHto be as powerful as a Ranked Jedi master(when FRS comes back up eventually), BUT in your opinion the grind to MBH shouldn't be as long as the Jedi's one?
Then what's the point in being a Jedi?Having fun holding a glowy stick?

By the way you already had balance when devs removed the lightsaber damage type pre CU, and when they removed our 85 percent block, and when they removed the lightsaber toughness from the technique branch, and when they added a 6 second timer on our heals,....
The list goes on and on.
Jedi has been nerfed to oblivion with the CU, whereas Bounty hunters have become more powerul.

I agree fully. There should be numerous viable MBH templates.

I agree basically with you I don't think making them equal is the answer. But just for info a largegroup of the Jedis out there got that strong with a paypal transaction.
