Has the irony struck anyone elsethat the current feeling about Jedi seems to be at a point where Palpatine's edict in Episode III would gain a similar response on the servers (cheers and applauds)? Give us the ability to go one on one with a Jedi. Give us balance.

You want MBHto be as powerful as a Ranked Jedi master(when FRS comes back up eventually), BUT in your opinion the grind to MBH shouldn't be as long as the Jedi's one?
Then what's the point in being a Jedi?Having fun holding a glowy stick?

By the way you already had balance when devs removed the lightsaber damage type pre CU, and when they removed our 85 percent block, and when they removed the lightsaber toughness from the technique branch, and when they added a 6 second timer on our heals,....
The list goes on and on.
Jedi has been nerfed to oblivion with the CU, whereas Bounty hunters have become more powerul.

Forgive me for not mentioning that I expected to hear Jedi crying about this, as they do about EVERY OTHER class getting anything. 85% Block removed balanced Jedi with MBH. I don't think so. and a whole six seconds on heals!!!! Wow!! I didn't realize that there was SUCH balance!!! I'm sorry you were "nerfed to oblivion." We must all be there, because there are lots of Jedi here, and they don't look very nerfed. As I said, I don't think nerfing is the answer to any of this. And yes. Having fun holding the glowing stick should be enough. Or perhaps you feel that as a Jedi you should have EVERY advantage in the game, with no real counter measure. Please, try your own advice, "Think before you post, please."

first off, jedi dmg is pretty good right now. all they have to do is bring back the pearl drops and then tweak the damage a bit. and the 80% block pre cu is mostly still here only shows up in other froms such as arua,armor,etc. the amount of misses and block that i have seen are almost at what it was pre cu. now take that and add the dmg reduction and i don't see a problem.
jedi have one real big advantage over all other professions and it is something that people don't really talk about. healing while kd'd. this one thing really makes the difference. especially with the kd bug that has been happening since the cu.
mbh should not be more powerful than a frs jedi. i will agree with you there, but what the dev's really need to do is make frs masters 1.5-2 times stronger than a normal profession and bring regular jedi into line with all other professions. do you play your character to be uber or do you play to be a jedi. that is where the problem lies, alot of people are becoming jedi so they can kill anything and everyone in game instead of playing jedi because they love the mythos behind behind it. some people play smugglers because they always had an attachment towards han solo or some play bh because they loved boba/jango. that is the real reason why someone should play a jedi not because the grind= semi invincibility.
this whole jedi thing is a sticky situation. and i think that eventually the dev's will see that the only way is to make it about abilities and skill and not about setting up a macro.
Just checked, there were 68 jedi for sale and most of those were offers to grind your character into a jedi...I'm pretty sure there are thousands of jedi spread across the servers by now

I do not wish everything handed to me on a plate, although I expect to my hold myself in 1 on 1 vs a BH if prepared.

Do you realize that there is barely a difference between a FRS Jedi and a fully templated padawan?(In the old system that is)
Besides it has been posted already that fully templated Jedi are SUPPOSED to be 1.5 stronger than any other profession.
If you think you're being threated unfairly because your MBH template thattook 1/30 the time it takes for a Jedi to finish his, is less powerful than a Jedi's one, too bad.
Sure I don't mind you being as powerful. You just have to grind out XP the same way and amount as a Jedi, oh and if you lose to a Jedi you lose XP. Lets not forget that you must now unlock BH. Just to make it real fun, all of your weapons will also now require loot drops to make them effective, but top end drops will not be working so you'll be stuck with a substandard weapon. Oh and you'll have to pay for your defenses seperately as well...
