Is it just me or do all these pittiful Master Bounty Hunters think that they are the latest greatest thing on every server? You always hear about these BH's who have awesome stories about "Killed My First Jedi" and "How to defeat a Jedi when He/She does Feigh Death or switches to a regular combat profession" ... now here is a public invitation to any and every Big Bad Bounty Hunter out there. I reside on Bloodfin and havent been hunted by true BH since Krya attacked me last (over 2 months ago). The only time I died due to a Bounty Hunter is when he was too scared to take my mission by himself so he employed 2 Dark Jedi Knights. Any Jedi Knight knows that a battle between themself and 2 Dark Jedi Knights almost always ends in defeat on their part. So all of you Uber-tastic Bh's out there i go 2 words. for ya.....

All i see here is a resourceful bounty hunter. Jedi knights light/dark are basically PvP powerhouses they are expected to engage other players. We bounty hunters can hunt them however, we are nowhere near as powerful so we must come up with other ways in which to tips the scales in our favor. So he was not a coward at all he was resourceful

Just for information purposes...template is: MLS 4440 Def 4000 Heal and 3002 Enh (since May)

Pre-CU saber (not perfect, but...): base spd: 2.09 damage: 541-639 191 elemental 100 SAC

I have never had problems with BHs...good fights sometimes...wiped the floor with others...and

please note I am not a PvP god...but not a total noob...

Obviously I ran into a well equipped, experienced MBH/MCM with armor break slice armor.

It was a pretty even fight...couldn't really get her mind low...finally took off when my force got low...

didn't see the point in staying and dying...(she had about half mind left I think...)

I want to get your opinions...is the problem the slice or the CM heals? Honestly...I've outdamaged

CM heals before...all the time...but the armor break slice really lowered my damage...

Or as a third option...should BHs be able to do this? I have no problem with a couple like this...but when

they are all like this....hmmm.....

I agree to a point.... (notice third option)...

However...the investment in equipment is actually more expensive I would think for Jedi...

Not sure what slicing goes for..but not too hard to get top off the line armor....same investment

for food and spice....and jedi have the pearl problem (I dont' have...but most do)....

I'm not saying I have to be "uber"...want an intelligent discussion...it is not hard for a player to get

to where this BH was...so like I said...the good BHs...more power too them..but if they are all like it..then theres

a problem

About 1.5 time more expensive.

The Elite Professtion does not just buy great armor and slice it. It's the legindary CAs and AA's that max out everything. Then you add an ADK to each for that "Uber" set of armor. Then comes the weapon. With the best components and loots it does get expensive. But, the best stuff and the greatest template or "FOTM" does nothing for the noob is he/she/it does not know who to use the skills. Yet another investient in learning the template.

For some reason, most look to nerf the other professtion to fix their own. let me submit a few questions to our debate:

What bug, nerf, or both would you reverse to "balance" this in your own profession?

If the pearl drop and Force regen bugs were corrected, would we be having this debate?

Ok, but why buy the ADKs when armor isn't usually more then 100k per piece for decent...

and then slicing....

And on nerfing my own profession....good question...but if SOE realy believes that

Jedi should be x1.5 then shouldn't it take 2 BHs to kill me since I'm full temp and

fairly experienced?

If there was no pearl or regen problem...you're probably right...we wouldn't be having this

discussion...i'd still be fighting that BH
