This is so sickening -- I get hit with body hit or head hit every second
Why does this game even exist when the idiots at SOE cant fix game breaking F'n issues. As far as I'm concerned I just pulled my last mission.
I see the blind eye turned towards all of these cheats and exploits as an insult to the players that actually want to play the game. As my final statement they can send this game so deep the sun will never hit it again

To others that answered -- I am not a noob -- In a fair fight I can beat any template as it stands only the Mdef/Msabers give me big trouble, but even those fights last several minutes and I have a fair chance of winning. It is the cheaters that through the use of a macro that BREAKS the mechanic of the cool down timers that ruin this game. The last mission I took I was hit with saber body hit over and over -- there was no skill involved in this there was no thinking, there was only a person who felt he needed to do this to win. The use of these exploit macros is so wide spread it is discusting.
Reading what is written here about picking and choseing shots is simple people who want soley to take the other side . I know my skills and timers , I know the foods I can use and the inherent filling and timers, but when as a BH using 4000 CM and I cant heal fast enough useing 4 diferent heals and ruby bile, my armor is 7100 energy and armor break 75% sliced, my def's are maxed.
So all of the detractors can screw off, I am sick of the cheaters, not the people who know their proffession and can kill me. Thaat is the game of competition and I will be the first to congrat a person who beats me.

Never had the "pleasure" of coming across this yet, but you seem to have a point that nothing is being done about it. Easiest way to sort it would be to remove all macro's from the game (tough luck on lazy people and on the entertainers, but I've always been ata loss why people subscribe to let there toon stand AFK - macro's suck, end of story).
I've beaten every BH that has come for me with ease, and not had a fight last over a few minutes and have never had to resort to exploiting or cheating like those using the timers (same with hunting Jedi - proud to say my side of every fight is totally fair). If they are found doing it, they should not be banned, but have their whole profession wiped

Perhaps if you learned the ins and outs of your chosen profession instead of immediately crying exploit you would realize that you can do the exact same thing. If you put half the effort into learning how to be a BH as you did into writing your rant then maybe you could find the solution. It's out there.... I've seen it, furthermore I have used it. Learn the game before you make yourself look more foolish.

It really is a known issue. People can learn their profession all the want, but if the opponent is "cheating" then there is a decision to make: A.) Cheat back, since the other did it or B.) Not cheat, and report it both to the CSRs and here.
I know how to do the cool down timer bypass with my BH character, but I choose not to because I feel that it's an exploit. It comes down to personal preference and play style. What you are suggesting is not a fix for the issue as the original poster is calling for. You called for him to cheat back, which perpetuates the issue and compounds the problems.
I will say that if nothing is done about it soon though, that everyone will start using methods like this as the "norm" and then when it finally IS taken away/fixed there will be mass complaints from both sides of the fence.

Whats the point in playing a game if no one plays by the rules, its like playing tag but no one ever excepts there on and in the end no one plays, if your sure somthing isnt right justget on withit because sooner or later it will get sorted.

At first...I thought this was an exploit as well....
but after further testing my own skills....I learned I could effectively do the same thing.
Its not an exploit...its about learning the speed of your timers. Different skills have different timers. Combine a few skills in the right combo and you can pull off a HAHRUUKEN!

So, you're implying that to counter an exploit we should also exploit? Now that sounds like hypocrital...
If you really think you need to exploit then you _suck_. If you fight an exploiter either try to fight fair or stalk him untill he gets in a tough situation and then proceed to maim him
Also report any sploiters and post stuff in forums. It works after a while

hey noob, why dont u learn how fast a jedi can attack without macros? with force speed a jedi can switch from head hit and body hit (or leg hit)and hit once a second withouta macro.

The exploit is being able to spam the SAME attack over and over again.... not cycling thru different attacks

The exploit is being able to spam the SAME attack over and over again.... not cycling thru different attacks

He's not suggesting cheating or exploiting at all. He IS suggesting that you look at your cooldown timers and find out which attacks can be used as other cooldown timers are counting down. There are usually at least 2 or 3 attacks that can be used by most templates in quick succession since they work on different cooldown timers.

Thankfully someone here has some sort of inteligence. The timers are set the way they are on purpose. It takes a great many skill points to be able to use this tactic.. points that I could put elsewhere if it did not work. There is the trade-off. Weaken my defenses to generate more offensive output. Anyone can do this. Not just jedi. Also, before you all start screaming nerf the jedi attacks.. bear in mind that this is how CMs and docs heal 4500+ damage in under 3 seconds.. yet I don't see any MBH/MCM crying that their heals being on different timers should be "fixed"... maybe jedi should start reporting every "cheating" BH that uses more than one type of heal.. especially if they use stims with ruby biel.
As I said before, learn the mechanics of the game before you start pointing fingers. If you can't manage that, stick to NPCs.
