Thread: I'm so sick of this cool down cheat

This is so sickening -- I get hit with body hit or head hit every second
Why does this game even exist when the idiots at SOE cant fix game breaking F'n issues. As far as I'm concerned I just pulled my last mission.
I see the blind eye turned towards all of these cheats and exploits as an insult to the players that actually want to play the game. As my final statement they can send this game so deep the sun will never hit it again

Ps: Every hunter on every server should start posting lists of these cheaters until we all get banned
**edit** happens....i had a mark kill me when i LD'd and i wore out his force 5 diff times same night...just go after a mark till you get one, its very releiving

Thankfully someone here has some sort of inteligence. The timers are set the way they are on purpose. It takes a great many skill points to be able to use this tactic.. points that I could put elsewhere if it did not work. There is the trade-off. Weaken my defenses to generate more offensive output. Anyone can do this. Not just jedi. Also, before you all start screaming nerf the jedi attacks.. bear in mind that this is how CMs and docs heal 4500+ damage in under 3 seconds.. yet I don't see any MBH/MCM crying that their heals being on different timers should be "fixed"... maybe jedi should start reporting every "cheating" BH that uses more than one type of heal.. especially if they use stims with ruby biel.As I said before, learn the mechanics of the game before you start pointing fingers. If you can't manage that, stick to NPCs.Lear
Once again effectively using attacks on different timers is not the issue here... it is the continual (bypassing the cooldown timer) of THE SAME ATTACK......
Please read the thread... or stick to NPC's
why would we 'spam' armorbreak if its our weakest move. we use it once and if it sticks we use our other attacks.

So how do you work around a jedi spamming armor break?

You all failed to notice my link ![]()
Man if that link can't take your mind off of Jedi spamming attacks...I dunno what can. Or perhaps it don't appeal to the younger generation...who knows.

why would you spam armorbreak? because the dammage you cause when our armor is broken is a major advantage ... especially when we are KDd.
So it is in your best interest to make sure that sticks.
I have AB sliced armor .. so it might take you 3 or 4 tries to get it in ... with the 3 second timer .. that might be 12 seconds.
if you exlpoit it .. at most 4 seconds to get it to stick.
THAT is an exploit and should be fixed.

Rereading the original post.. he is moaning about head and body hit. He doesn't state that he is being hit continually by the same attack. I would bet a million creds it is an alternating attack as they are both on seperate timers. They fall under different saber disciplines. Some of us (myself included) have to rely on speed because our direct damage output is horrible. I generally hit for about as much as the bonus a powerup grants most BHs because of nerfed pearl drops. Without speed I may as well go prone to speed up the kill so as to waste as little of my time as possible. I use this tactic... among my circle of friends pretty much pioneered it (although I learned of it before I decided to go the jedi route froma friend of mine using "normal" skills").. and it is the only way I can compete. I don't use speed hacks and the only macro I run is an aura loop. So, please tell me how (as the OP claims) this is a cheat? In case you are curious, I have a 1.12 speed saber and a speed of 134.Lear
I reread the original post and I will grant you it can be read that way... I read the 'or' as he is continually hit with one or the other...
Given the known exploit with cool down timers that was/is the frame of mind I was in... So I guess we could be both correct

you don't have 2, armorbreak has a realy low dmg itself, watch out for being headhitted after the armorbreak

FYI an AB slice does not decrease the number or chance that AB is applied but rather the damage caused by attacks while under its effect.
