Thread: Jedi 50% more powerful, true or false opinions
Well. It all comes down to knowing your finished template and being effective at using it. Such as this mark I went after just tonight. I got to him after he cloned from a cloning center. Got him totally off guard when I attacked. After a pretty tough fight he finally wins. Cause he was able to use his skills effectively in combat.
I did a good job at keeping him at range so he could not just pummel me. And he was able to use saber throw to kd me so he could get closer to attack. Yet neither of us could really hurt each other that much. Him mostly cause I stayed clear of his melee range. And myself due to fact that said carbine couldnt damage him to a degree and the cm dots werent able to lower him to incap. Yet both of us were able to keep healing and the battle lasted a good 4-5 mins. With him unfortunately ending as the winner. After that we had a good chat and parted ways.
It wasnt the fact that I was too weak that cost me it. It was the fact that he was well practiced in pvp. Mostly due to the fact that he probably died in a pvp battle and ended up at the cloning center from it. Everyone that complains that a jedi is too powerful are probably going for the jedi that know what their doing in combat.
The full template i went after that one was afk out in BFE on dant. Easy kill. I never heard of him before.

true. 1v1, CM or not, jedi SHOULD win. We have the abilities to win. I ALWAYS win 1v1 against MCM's, MDocs, whatever. Just comes to tactics, and your ability to play your jedi. 2 week, respec, afk rryyat trail grinders will probably lose a lot because they dont know their jedi.
Exactly.

*ahem*
before getting flamed by the BH's who will be sure to point out the 1v1 aspect of pub 20....
Alot of the times, if you're prepared, its quite easy to take down knights. Having good armor, weapons, food, spices, whatever, and you can take down full temps easily. But again, you cant just barge in there right away after getting a WP. Its called staying back and observing the jedi.
depends if they have pre or post pub 19 pearls in there saber...
I its a pretty even fight between me and a mls mdef jedi who has a post pub 19 saber, (by This I mean only good pearls to tune) against a jedi with 4 120 damage 9 fc pearls? I don't even bother. dead before lag catches up
I knew the qui-gon issue would come up but hoped that others would see it the way that I do. If qui-gon had just hit the wall once...quickly....like a blaster pistol would, his damage would have been minimal. It was the constantapplication of his saber in a limited area..as well as some unknown force-use judging by the way he was concentrating....that allowed him to do that. Take a focused high capacity laser to nearly any object and that will happen. If the energy pack in a blaster pistol couldpump out enough energy to remainconstant, it would probablydo the same.
But thats my view of it.
