Okay, the evening of jedi hunting started out great. I got a couple of really great marks, one of which i suspect let me win and another who tooled me hardcore (/deepbow Noss), but both very cool and very fun. But then things took a turn for the worse...I track this jedi Azuraey toNym's and jump him as soonas I land. The fight was going very well, I was pwng him all around the NS starport...then he fled. I followed him to a cantina and asked a mere 50kfor my troubles andI'd drop the mission. No go. SoI re-engage until he flees again, this time on his bike.45 minutes of /following later, he bank tips me the credits and I humbly thank him and leave. Slightly annoying.

Not an hour later, I track yet another jedi to Lok and rush out into the wilderness to my almost certain doom. I finally find him, a fellow by the name of -GuNNeR-, and send my usual "come out and fight" tell, and he fearlessly comes after me. Forty minutes and 10 Stim-D's later, he decides to book it to his AV-21...in pursuit again. Five minutes or so later he pulls into a complex of imperial bases and runs in. Then I notice that he is going combatant . I then proceeded to offer my meager 50k payout deal, and he refuses. Thirty minutes of camping later, he logs out....I'm still sitting here in case he logs back in. I won't be dropping this mission until this is dealt with respectably.

Sorry for the long post but I am much pissed at jedi who can't live up to their title.

At least I'm beginning to live (instead of die)up to mine.

That sucks, sounds like you probably have CM 4XXX, healing is always a plus. Jedi do that all the time, Its irritating after all that work to get to them, but this is probably going to be dealt with in the future, with faction bases being added in as "helpful" so the TEF will effect them, or at least we hope.

They are our content,we are also thiers. Most jedi I know will not run in fact they end up chasing the Bh down, but then again theyenjoy pvpand know how to play thier toon.I could also swear thier is something that lets you know that you become BH content when you take the task of being a jedi on.

I was grouped with Azuraey, when you popped out of the starport. Those were some nice hits you got in on him, if he stuck around you would have had him. Unfortunatly that didnt bode well for our SF group I was a part of, a rebel jedi popped out of the starport and killed my guildmate and I. What is your template btw? The jedi that attacked us my friend and i only knocked the first 5% of his health off.

You are a hunter. Hunt your quarry. If you lose your quarry, find another and hunt them.

Jedi have very little incentive to stand and fight. If they log, go get another mission.

Then why did the Jedi choose to be on the terminals? Jedi who don't wish to be hunted by BH know exactly how to avoid it.

Getting on the terminals is like getting pregnant - it doesn't happen "accidentally", we know exactly what causes it.

It is not always like that. If you really watch the dar, and keep looking for it, you can stay off the terms. But until you are a Jedi, you never realize how many characters (inside houses, buildings etc) don't show on the radar until someone targets them. Notice how you can target an object in your house, and it will leave a white box on the radar? Knowing that there are other objects in other houses, you don't see any boxes for, kinda explains what I am talking about.

As for the part of jedi running away, there is a book called "the rules of war" that explains all that in detail. I.E. "He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day." Kinda the same way BH'ers turn tail and run when they see the Jedi Knight title. Now, knowing thati ground MBH in about 1/1000th the time it took me to grind the badges, village, paddy trials and start grinding Jedi, all the while taking hate tells from BH's and all the "I hate jedi, but I want to be one" crowd, I think it is perfectly fine to flee the situation if a Jedi is caught in a bad spot and a BH shows up.

Furthermore, BH got socked pretty hard in the "no names" publish. It took away the ability to choose your quary (called griefing by some) and made the risk higher. Then, in addition to haveing the highest paying missions in the game, they gave them the best loot possibility in the game. I know some BH's that have made over 50 million in a day by selling their loots. There are pluses to both sides.

Unfortunately, this topic will never be resolved. As long as there is a division, a line in the sand, there will never be peace amongst the players. It is after all a game, and if something frustrates you, the best resolution is to find something else that doesn't. Same as in real life. If some one torks your buttons everytime you talk to them, find some one else to talk to. If politics irritate you, watch cartoon network instead of fox news. If hunting Jedi irritates you, try artisan. Easy answers abound.

are you impliing that he needs to drop the mission if they run or log? Thats BS, he SHOULD keep the mission and teach the jedi a lesson when he logs back in or when he finds him again. i don't drop missions when they run either. I'll come back an hour or a day later and nail them again.
