Last night as i lay in my bed trying to fall asleep i was thinking about different strategies/templates to kill jedi. i thought of one tactic that involved a bomb droid. today i woke up and got online to see if i could test it out.
on bloodfin bombdroids, power 57, cost 80k. my question is, for 80k and one timeuse, are these effective enough to justify buying? I'm about to do some testing but i was wondering what everyone elses experiences are with these recently. damage numbers, detonation macros, etc.

Sure, 80k are a lot of cash, but the sight of a 226k Jedi being KDed and blown up while standing at a terminal or watching an entertainer is just priceless. Add another BH and some lag and your mark's dead before he even realizes what's going on.
And keep in mind that you can generate the droid even during a fight if you still have the deed (meaning it's no in your datapad). If you want to be cunning, those droids are for you.

use startle or disarming shot
If you also have enough commando to use a rocket launcher, use startle or disarming shot with it, ensuring a unrecoverable kd for 3-4 seconds.

might be useful to send one in and boom it just as you snipershot if you're a rifleman....also, i don't know if Master Defender defenses apply to this so it might be useful

why i love cm poisens and fire aren't affected by there defense, if they heal it with food, they can't eat anything else.

Used on today on a knight. Hit him for 1.5k in the combat log.
