Thread: Jedi Healing/Blocking while KDed?

Ok, I can understand a Jedi healing while he's on his back, i'll give it to him. He's a Jedi, he's one with the force, it can happen. But blocking shots while he's on his back is just stupid! Phyically he can't do it! That's like us running duelist macros while KDed! Last night I fought a Jedi (Well fought is a bad word, I fought him, he just layed there.), and I'd KD him and he'd just sit there on his back, healing and blocking all my shots. I never got him to below half health once in half an hour! After the KD timer was up, he'd stand, I'd KD again, and it went like that for 30 'F'ing minutes! He never got low on mind and he never used any action. This is just stupid. I ran out of action before I even put a dent in his mind bar. And the Sac on my rifle is 58!
My gun isn't weak either, so before you guys start going off about how I need better equipment thana CDEF Rifle, know that I don't need help there. Something just needs to be looked at. Blocking shots with your lightsaber while you're on your back starring at the sky is just wrong.

perhaps if you did not depend on KD, you would have better success...

KD is a pain but never really a prob and you will not win against a full temp by using it.

KD isn't FTW like it used to be. I use it to:
Open with if I use a Bomb Droid
Get some distance
Stop them running
Or if Iget rooted

I don't you think you guys are understanding. As long as he was KDed he wasn't returning any hits. And it's not like I was even close to incapping him. Once he would stand up he'd try to force run away anyway, so KD was the only option to keep him in place. My snare didn't do anything to his force run. The KD wasn't a problem because it's not like substituting it for a higher damage shot would do anything, he just never got that low in health.
Here's what foods I used:
Blob for the action regen.
Pyro for the accuracy
Booster blue and a couple other foods I can't remember. I also used Aim for the accuracy bonus, but it didn't help much. I just couldn't inflict damage on the guy. He blocked everything!

Did you even read the post? I didn't need distance because he never got up. A bomb droid wouldn't have done enough, the guy healed liked a mad man without using any mind, and he rarely had to heal because he was blocking everything.

He was using force valor. Valor Almost doubles your light saber block against ranged attacks. A very handy skill against BH. If you want to beat this Jedi youl have to do it Mele.

Well jedi spend so much time getting shot at they get really good at blocking gunfire so good in fact they can do it lyign down with one hand behind their back and as for the not physically possible part..... technically it would make it easier as they would have to focus on a smaller area to defend rather than their whole body standing up... think about it

Yes I did read the post, I was only telling you what I use KD for.
It looks like anything except standing gives an increase to force regen. So he was basically laying down and keeping his force regenning to heal everything you threw at him. Notice sometimes how a jedi kneels for a bit in the middle of a fight? It's for a faster force regen.
(this isn't for definite, I am just supposing)
Is that better?
PS I think a lower posture may increase ranged defense, not sure

No, the only buff he had running was force infusion. Thats it. Nothing else. At one point he had a food, but that was only for a couple minutes. I just didn't understand it.

Ok, I didn't understand your first post. But still, should they really be able to block while on their back? And if so, should they be able to block that well? Shouldn't there be a stricter penalty for being knocked down. I know if I was ever in a fight the last place I would want to be was on my back.

Yes, there should be a penalty while they are on their backs. don't mind some of the responses..they are Jedi with BH alts.

Gotta keep the Jedi KDed. You get an acc bonus for it. Combine that with Deuterium Pyro and you'll be hitting hard.
