Thread: Last Ditch
Now dont quot me on this but I believe that stun slows down the attack speed of the mob or player.
As for multiple Shots I only ever see one damage line cross the combat screen meaning that it only counts as one shot for damage but I have seen the graphic portray it as multiples either way it does great damage I have done as much as 1400 with one shot from FWG5.
its one hit i believe, it looks like multiple shots most likely to keep in line with its name, last ditch assault.

A 195 max FWG5 could probably break 1000 on a last ditch, but probably not by much. My FWG5 is only 210 max (drat Starsider's shoddy resources) and I think I have squeaked out a bit over 1100. But then again, I usually only use it to run by one-shotting blue critters for giggles.

Well Im using a launcher pistol 56 to 256 and the best Ive done is like 1700 something on a light blue thing. On red things the best is usually 1400's.
You wanna see damage...
Add a weapon power-up. I've been able to make +15% minumum damage / +33% maximum damage "muzzles". (just use the highest quality mineral + chemical you can find (995+)
Now I can't say that I've done 1700 damage with a scout blaster - (the max I've done was right around 1100 dmg with Last Ditch) - BUT, you people who CAN hit for 1700 would be hitting for AHELLUVA lot more with a 33% dmg mod...
A question, how does the stun special that comes with last ditch. Does it delays the target like missing a turn or something (The message says "XXX is feeling stunned" or something like that) or only makes it hardly to hit us?
Another thing. Its supposed to fire muiltple times yet Ive only see it do it a couple times what gives.
I'm just wondering how high of a speed mod I'd need to have for last ditch to work well, and also, how high are you guys' speed mods, and does last ditch work good for you?
I counted how much speed I'll have when I max, and it'll be 91, is that enough?

Heck, I use Last Ditch with a speed skill of +24 (around there) and a weapon speed of about 1.8 or thereabouts... seems to work ok, but what are your criteria do a "Last Ditch Assault"?
