Thread: URGENT- PLEASE BRING ATTENTION TO DEVELOPERS
If the developers DO take the ID section away from the BH terminal, there is one problem that will immediately become apparent. For those BHs that take their profession seriously, they will recognize this in an instant.
How do we target our mark, when the mark is surrounded by a large number of targets, that he/she is using to grind. Add to that the strategy jedi have been adopting for the past year, where as they hunt by groups...increasing the number of "possible" targets the BH will have to click through. A ranged BH will immediately loose the element of surprise...increasing the ability of the jedi to either escape or focus their attention on the BH.
Notice...we are Bounty HUNTERS, not Bounty PvP'ers. We hunt our prey, we stalk our prey, we surprise our prey...but for that, we need SOE to at least reduce the number of obstacles we have had to jump through in the past (non working Arakyds, non working seekers, "feign death" strategy, 80% block, Light Saber equip exploit, jedi groups defending BH marks, AA jedi living in cantinas, TEF'd jedi going into houses and now untrackable jedi in Kashyyk).
I don't seek for pity from SOE...but I do seek for SOE to give us a FAIR chance.

121 Confirmed Solo Jedi kills (yes, including Knights)
...so when you come within a certain distance of your mark, your mission is updated and you're given your target's name..

why not just run your mouse target over the players...you will see what one can be targeted and attacked

just from an immersion point of view--not listing the targets name or how much your going to get for the bounty is just plain stupid. If the devs want to reduce the number of gank squads simply reign back the number of bounties possible on jedi to 2 or 3. Much simplier and yet still preserves immersion.

Tanks, hope you are reading this. There are good creative ideas that could be easily implemented. A simple discussion yielding positive results.
Here's another idea...how about an impersonal "/target bounty" command when you are within PvP range?
What do you guys think?
