Yep, one of the most useful macro's to have. A little tip is that when you've found you jedi, dump the macro because it can get annoying mid-fight when you are targetting yourself to heal and the macro keeps switching it back to the mark.
Target yourself?

yep..i have a macro like this with /death in it too...and for self healing i use macro's for that too, target self then heal
OOO Adding /Deathblow to this is a outstanding Idea!..Ive got another macro Toolbar'd for DB..I will try this and free up a needed tollbar space...
THX for the tip!

Target yourself?
Ive neverhad to /targ myself to heal..i use 1150StimDs and Ive got MedicNov w/ +19 Heal Eff (4SocetBio-UndershirtShirt) giving me a +24...1 pnt less than if I had medic0/0/4/0
Thats another good tip and frees up 14SPs
What Heals are you you useing where you have to target yourself?
I'm a master Combat Medic, and bacta toss dosen't always work unless you have yourself targeted.
Yeah I have noticed that Bacta heals can screw up if you have enemy targeted, I sometimes get"Invalid Target" message. They tend to work ok if you try a second time but when fighting a mark you dont want to have to run your heal command twice to heal yourself once. I have never had that error with stims though.
The other problem with running the target macro when you areactually in combat is when the mark jumps on his swoop, it is difficult to target the swoop cus the macro keeps switching back to target the jedi.
It is a great macro for searching on wookie land and forpicking out your mark from a seething mass of bols. Ihave 2 versions, a recursive one and a single use one (justuse the first line in the quoted macro)to cover all occasions as it can be much quicker than the tab key
DB Macro rolling: what about timer? i didn t use this macro, but guess it could be a waste of time.
Any BH that uses this is an idiot and deserves the death an experienced jedi is going to give you. These things were all the rage about 8 or 9 months ago, until people figured out that by naming a pet or droid the same thing, the macro would lock on the pet and not the target, even after the pet gets shot down.
Will it work on Padis? Maybe. Many other experienced Jedi drag a kaadu or dewback to prevent this. And yes, it still works. I actually saw a newb actually BH complain about this after he got himself annihilated. Pathetic.
Most macros are silly, and ifyou get knocked down, it can really jack things up if the loop is too long. Want a duelist stance/healing macro?Fine. Combatmacro? Not as goodan idea.

Errr, don't pet and droid names have (brackets) around them so that can't happen? Seriously, why come and troll athread where a guy is simply trying togive a tip to others?

A Simple /Dump when you lock your target will stop any Macro Running..
If your looking for 1 target in a group of players or Bikeing and your target runs by, this macro will dead lock who your after w/o the need to TAB
I refuse to turn this into a Flame War..Hes a Jedi..Chk his past posts, dont Feed him..
Ive never targeted a Pet or Driod useing this..Can it happen? Anything can happen I guess but, its is extremely rare id say at best it would..
