I've recently created a new toon, whose going MBH, MP. I've equiped him with both Cyber arms for the +15 range.

However, alot of BH on this forum have mentioned that they are not worth using, as Jedi hit with full force on the arms due to the little armour there.

How have MBH, MP found this??? Are they worth if for the extra range???

Ys, has any one got any hard figuers on damage taked with/without arms? I use both ranged arms and have never really noticed the diff when fighting jedi, ok so I get hit hard some times, but thats usually pre cu or a kd'd power hit. The extra range the arms give me far out weigh any damage that may be done- but, if the damage is increased by a significant amount then i will ditch the arms as Jedi hunting will be all the more easier.

I use them. The 80m range with a rifle is pretty sweet and helps alot to kite those FR Jedi. I guess I really haven't noticed any big damage hits with them on yet. I got ganked by 3 cloaked Jedi today and it still took them a bit to kill me with 2 cybs and bh gear(bh gear..funny). I thought I was going to go down like yesterday's glass cannon but they proved me wrong.

I'll have to do some testing later today.

He meant by a pre-cu saber. THey hit harder than what jedi can make now.

Missing an arm (armorpiece) is not as bad as missing a legpiece or chest/head because the arms don't take that large a part of your suit, and there is no special attack directly aimed at your arms (as far as i know.) Ie no Advanced Saber Wrist hit, or something like that. But you will still get a slight increase in damage incoming. (Personally I wouldn't use a cybernetic arm because my gloves and bracers have way too good skillmods on them.)

Yeah, I see your point. More sockets to fill.
