Thread: what are the jedi so upset about?

is it the snare thing? or the SL thing. ive neever seen such unhappiness before sure they whine alot but this, is extreme

it's not really just either, it's the culmination of the non-responce we've had since the CU, however the complete silence regarding the outcry from all profs regarding the latest changes within the last month, the completely filtered dev chat, and ignored the posts in beta, tc, and now live, and then garva telling us to take a step back and breathe, and tiggs telling us to be quiet or risk perma ban, has caused the pot to boil over. In short I point you to here

Because all that grinding they did, now they cant even face a bh 1 on 1 and come out victorious , so all they can do is run , now they nerfing their escape root. I dont have a jedi alt but i do feel kinda sorry for them.

People are frustrated - the basic dynamic of the game seems broken and all this tweaking of combat won't fix it.
OTOH you could be in the entertainer prof:Dancer got the lame buffs and ID's haven't gotten so much as a new colour of lipstick since..since....

the action cost is the biggest complaint I heard of...Seems the changes went in for jedi, but not for regular toons....
seems with a near sac capped saber they're running out of action in 10 hits or less....

What other professions is it taaht complains?
I think the game is finally coming to a reasonable state of balance.

Check the patch notes thread for 24. Every melee class, dancer, musician, ID's, of course jedi, hell even chefs said it was unnecessary. here
And that's not even the posts in beta regarding the matter

Balance? LOL there are jedi out there dying without being able to get a swipe in because there are constantly 50 meters away.... balance.

i dont know but its leaving a bad taste in my mouth ....and not because i think their right ..
they should stop .. they have ruined the game enough ...id hate to see potential new subscribers lost, because of the ridiculousness they will see when scanning the forums to learn about the game ...and its not just jedi its anyone who acts like this ...
but lately im seeing it constantly with jedi and bh as well
its one thing to have 1 to 5 threads ... and post within those threads ...its another to have 3 pages of threads in the jedi forum alone ( with countless deleted) .. and then have jedi spill it onto the other forums ...they are like spoiled children getting loud to get what they want ..and i have seen BH with this crap too ... im not blaming it all on jedi .. ive seen bh pile it on as well asking for jedi abilities to get nerfed ( like cloak)
wel all dont have everything we want .. but we cant get angry and hostile....

Both. And its not just Jedi, its melee players in general. It just happens to be in the Jedi boards because GarVa chose to post his thread there.
Aside from that, the SL stuff should be concerning for ranged players, also. If a Master Defender with Aura up gets hit for 8k+ by an ALR or HLR before armor mitigations, any ranged player without CoB or Aura is insta-toast.
